Boat trips to visit the surrounding islands or for scuba diving, snorkelling or sea-fishing can be arranged with agents in the local village or at the nearby Rawai beach or Chalong pier, both within 10-15 minutes' drive from the villa.
Apart from the stunning beaches and tropical scenery all along the west coast of Phuket, within 10-15 minutes' drive there are many opportunities for water sports, elephant trekking; within 30-45 minutes' drive there are 6 golf courses, the Fantasia theme park (a must for the elephant show) near Kamala, Phuket Zoo, the Butterfly Park, Phuket Aquarium, multiplex cinemas and many shopping opportunities.

From Phuket Airport to the Villa.
Taxis for airport/villa transfer and/or car rental are available at Phuket airport and can be pre-arranged if required by contacting the villa Owner who will arrange for you to be met on arrival as you come out of the airport terminal building. The cost of a taxi or minibus from the airport to the villa at Nai Harn Baan-Bua is normally about 1,200 - 1,500 Thai Baht (approximately 25-30 GB Pounds) depending on no. of people. For car rental we would recommend David Car Rental, located close to Phuket airport.
The drive from Phuket airport takes up to 1 hour. From the airport follow the 402 road towards Phuket, then turn right onto the 402 Bypass Road towards Patong. Do not follow later signs to Patong but continue south past Tesco Lotus and Central Festival towards Chalong and Rawai. At the small roundabout at Chalong head south on the Wiset Road towards Rawai. After about 2 miles you will see signs to turn right to Ban Saiyuan and Nai Harn - turn by a 7-11 store onto the Saiyuan road. Then after another 2 miles turn left at the small 3-way junction in Ban Saiyuan village. After half a mile turn right at the German Bakery into Soi Naya (there is a signpost to Nai Harn Baan-Bua) then after a few bends turn left into Soi Naya 1 where you will see the entrance sign to the Nai Harn Baan-Bua development.
The Villa is situated in the gated development of Nai Harn Baan-Bua, the entry gate to which is on the right at the end of Soi Naya 1 (about 300 metres down).
Full instructions for key collection and gaining entry to the Nai Harn Baan-Bua development and the villa will be provided once your booking has been confirmed and requisite payments received by the villa Owner.

“Total serenity in Phuket”
Our family stayed at Baan Nai Fun for 7 nights in April 2013. The villa is one of the best we have ever stayed in and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for some peace and quiet in Phuket. It is extremely clean and well appointed with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. The infinity pool is not only beautiful to look at but is the perfect temperature for a swim during the day or evening. The experience at the villa is made so much more special because of all the little touches that the owners provide, such as the "Welcome Pack" and complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. The villa is authentically Thai so you really are experiencing your own little piece of Thailand. We also made sure to feed the Koi and turtle in the lake.

“Excellent luxury villa!”
Whilst the photos are an excellent representation of the villa, as already mentioned, they simply don't do the place justice and in reality, this villa exceeded our expectations. It has everything we needed and wanted and whilst it feels luxurious, it also feels instantly homely. Shari & Phil have successfully created a home which is modern and also has a traditional Thai theme. I trawled through many villas online and have no doubt in my mind that we picked the right one. We were looking for luxury and style but a place which was also sympathetic of and in keeping with Thai culture and this villa ticks every box.
Not only is the home a perfect destination but its location in Phuket was perfect for us too. The local area is quiet and relaxing but has a great selection of restaurants as well as local amenities. You don't have to go too far to be in the thick of it and enjoy the buzz of the busier resorts if you wish.
Shari and Phil are extremely helpful, thoughtful and knowledgeable. They have thought of every need for their guests which is clearly born out of their experience. Furthermore, their communication and assistance throughout is excellent and the personal touch really enhances the appreciation of the villa and overall experience. We really do recommend this villa!

We haved stayed in villas all over the world, but this was by far the best place we have stayed in. Phil & Shari were fantastic hosts - every little detail was taken care of, from the initial booking to the car hire. The villa is luxurious, in a beautiful location in the south of the island. Pattong Beach was only 20 minutes ride away, if you wanted to experience the expansive nightlife. The weekend market is also highly recommended for the cheap shopping. We loved the south coast, the beaches were less busy and the restaurants were outstanding. The Crepes restaurant with their fresh mango smoothies was our favourite breakfast place. There are also plenty of very good Italian restaurants if you wanted a break from the Thai food. The villa is located in a private estate and the management staff were very courteous and helpful. Cleaners would come every other day - I miss them now we are back at home. A fantastic holiday and we are already planning a return trip

“The absolute definition of a "holiday"”
Where do I start - photos, although fabulous, didn't do the villa justice. We discovered Nai Harn beach on our second last day holidaying in Thailand 7 years ago & promised ourselves if we returned we would stay close by. We didn't want to stay in a hotel so looked for a villa. Baan Nai Fun looked perfect and traveling with three teens the table tennis table, mountain bike & private pool were a definite drawcard!
After we'd made our choice (there were a few options in the area) the owners liaised with us all the way through - helping with planning, answering questions during our stay and offering reminders for departure, as well as checking we returned home safely. The cost was very moderate given the luxury and facilities - the owners have thought of everything - from music, to power adaptors, to a book to help identify the wonderful butterflies. You can tell they really love the place too.
This trip was with our teenagers so we did all the touristy activities like surfing, elephant rides, para-sailing, buggy driving, shopping & even the cinema. We introduced them to massages & the wonderful Thai food, but next time plan to go with friends and do more 'grown up' stuff like G&T sipping by the pool.
Honestly - this trip was the perfect holiday - made more so by the attention to detail the owners have invested in this villa to make visitors feel at home in their piece of paradise.

“Fanastic Oasis in great location”
This was our second visit to Baan Nai Fun and we enjoyed it as much as first visit. On this ocassions my parents joined us and commmenetd it was the best holiday home they had stayed at.
The house is located in the quieter southern part of Phuket, there are many good restrauants in the local area and Nai Harn beach is close by. The house is next to a small lake in a very peaceful location - it is so alluring it is diifuclt to drag your self away from the house to visit the other attractions in Phuket.

Now in hindsight, the 4**** resorts we stayed at previously & after we stayed at Baan Nai Fun-never came close nor compared to this fantastic Villa.We honestly should of made our stay there longer ! “Beautiful piece of paradise.”
I've stayed at numerous villas in the Nai Harn area and can confirm categorically that this villa is the most beautiful, well appointed and well situated.

This luxury villa is a must for anyone who values privacy and a quiet stay. From the off the owners were very easy to deal with, always willing to answer questions and sending all the right info for paying the deposit etc. 3 fantastic double bedrooms, a huge lounge area with entertainment centre, full kitchen,bikes, table tennis, a lovely private study with internet access, books everywhere in case you forget yours, an honest home from home. The lovely thing is Shari and Phil invite you to share their home and enjoy their piece of paradise. The pool is fantastic too. After chasing around Phuket site seeing we would walk into the pool at 4pm and stay in until dark, lovely. There are plenty of restaurants to enjoy just 5 mins away, our fav being the Ruen Thai. Stay here and you won't want to leave. A big thanks to Shari and Phil for letting us stay. 10/10
“Home from home but with better weather and a pool!!!”
What a truly lovely villa. Perfectly fitted out and maintained but so homely as well. We thought that the bottle of wine in the welcome pack was a really hospitable touch and truly welcoming. Made us feel as if we were staying in the home of friends. Likewise the nice touch of toiletries in the bathroom. The situation is perfect, but would recommend car hire to enjoy it to the full. Also felt very safe and comfortable, private but not isolated. Watching the wild life around the lake is a full time job in itself!!! All in all, a perfect place for a perfect holiday - a little bit of paradise!!!!!

The house is beautiful in all aspects and the grounds are exquisite. After entering the property across the lotus pond, opening the front door is a revelation. Baan Nai Fun isn't a holiday villa; it's a home, and a fabulous one. From the fully equipped kitchen to satellite TV, Music systems, DVDs, Bikes, Games, internet access; everything is provided. Even luggage scales to ensure your return flight check-in goes smoothly! There is only one drawback! The villa is almost too comfortable. The gardens, the pool and the views over the fresh water lagoon are so beautiful and so relaxing that it's difficult to go out and explore Phuket. Sitting in the morning sun watching the lagoon area come to life is enchanting. It teems with wildlife. The flock of yellow spectacled Mynah birds trill beautifully as they sip water at the infinity edge of the pool and the fleeting glimpses of the iridescent blue back of the Kingfisher are a delight. The pool area is a perfect suntrap. The sun rises over the lagoon in time for an early breakfast in the sala and passes over the rooftop just as you're beginning to think whether to go out and eat the fabulous food in the local restaurants or stay in and cook something to eat outside as the stars come out. If you can tear yourself away, this corner of Phuket has plenty to explore and enjoy. Driving in the area is easy too. The swarm of motor scooters isn't a problem. With up to four Thais on each bike, they weave in and out around you quite carefully, almost gracefully in fact. Even in the busy areas like Patong and Chalong we never encountered an aggressive driver on two wheels or four. Even with a whole world to explore it will be difficult to resist going back to Nai Ban Fun. Phil and Shari are the perfect hosts too. Their almost instant responses to our emails with help and advice ensured we enjoyed our holiday to the full.

“Wonderful quiet villa”
If you are looking for a relaxed and peaceful stay in Phuket then Baan Nai Fun is for you. The villa is in the most beautiful setting, with its own infinity pool and views over the lagoon. The accommodation is very comfortable with good sized bedrooms and bathrooms and a wonderful living/dining area, with all the mod cons. My only regret is not having booked a 2 week stay! The owners, Shari and Phil are wonderful to deal with and made the booking process very easy. Their prompt reply to emails and additional advice on the area made all the difference.

“A perfect holiday location”
The villa Baan Nai Fun is an idyllic holiday retreat that has a real home from home feel about it.
It is spacious, extremely comfortable and furnished to a very high standard in traditional Thai style while catering for all mod cons including satellite TV, internet access and music system. We spent a large part of our holiday just relaxing around the villa because we found that it was such a perfect location.
The infinity pool is clean, very warm and easily large enough to cater for a family; it overlooks a natural lagoon which attracts a range of birds, on our visit among others we saw Water Hens, Drongos and Kingfishers. We found that there was absolutely no problem from insects or mosquitoes despite the close proximity to water due to the sympathetic planting of insect repellent shrubs around the entire area.
Baan Nai Fun offers the perfect location to relax in a secure and safe environment and is only a 15 minute walk to the lovely beach at Nai Harn, It is in close proximity to a large range of excellent restaurants to cater for local and western dishes.
We would thoroughly recommend villa Baan Nai Fun to anyone wishing to stay in Phuket as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in such a beautiful place.

Location of villa is good you can hire a car but this is not neccasary, as most shops and restaurants are within walking distance. There is an abundance of cafes and restauarants all are good but you will have your favourites like we did. Villa is in a beautiful setting overlooking a lagoon and we often stayed in with a takeaway eating outside admiring the view. Lots to do for the more energetic, trips to the islands on the long boats in Rawai were quite breathtaking and beautiful and the islands have facilities for lunch and of course the cocktails were a must. The nearby beach of nai Harn is wonderful and great for children facilities here are good just about everything you need is here, must also mention the coktails at the Phuket Yacht Club go at sundown its wonderfully relaxing after a day at the beach. If you feel the need for nightlife nearby Patong caters for this and its easy to get to via taxi or tuk tuk they also have a night market which is great fun. We enjoyed our stay immensely and cannot recomend this villa more highly, a truly amazing villa, you will not be dissapointed.

“Heaven”
The villa is beautiful and the setting magnificent. There's a lovely infinity pool looking out over a Koi lake. The whole plot is surrounded by lush vegetation and there is plenty of space and furniture for outdoor living in both sun and shade. The open sided gazebo is ideal for eating al fresco and shaded decking allows you to relax overlooking the lake. The villa is spacious and beautifully furnished. Staff do a great job without being intrusive. The village is a 3 minute bike ride away (bikes provided) and has plenty to offer including a German bakery, creperie, local and european restaurants and a small Tesco, hairdressers massage etc. The beaches are within easy reach, 5 mins to a local undeveloped one and 10 to the bustling Kata by car. We arrived on Sunday and the management could not find the keys. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay and would thoroughly recommend this villa. The owners were extremely helpful and organised transfers from the airport.
Response: We share our guest's disappointment with the check-in delay on their arrival and have raised this with the local management at the development. This is the first and only time such a problem has occurred and the management have apologised and assured us it will not happen again.

“Perfect spot”
We are a family with 3 children (age 6, 10, 12) spending 2 weeks in the Baan Nai Fun villa. The house is situated in a gated area and is placed very beautiful with pool and sala area facing the logoon. The house is tastefully decorated and very spacious and we spent a lot of time relaxing at the pool just interrupted by a game of tabletennis. We found all infomations/instructions needed about the house and the area and had no problems at all. Nai Harn is a more quiet part of Phuket, the beach is not very crowded and we loved it - swimming, getting massage and a watermelon shake - perfect. We rented 2 scooters to be able to get around easily to the beach (1,5 km), for shopping and restaurants (0,5 km) - and we felt quite safe driving with the kids. Going further around Phuket we took a taxi. The house is a good basis for trips to Phi Phi and other southern islands and we did a lot of snokelling. Also ypu have to go to the weekend marked in Phuket Town. We can highly recommed this house...

“une villa paradisiaque”
Magnifique villa de style Thai/Balinais, décorée avec énormément de gout. C'est encore plus beau que sur les photos ! On s'y sent comme chez soi, entouré de nombreux livres, CD, DVD. La piscine est superbe et suffisamment grande. A quelques mètres, la vue embrasse un très joli étang dans lequel évoluent d'énormes carpes (visibles depuis la chambre) qui attendent qu'on les nourrisse. Tout ici respire la quiétude. Un petit paradis sur terre. La villa est bien située, dans un quartier très vert, au calme, à quelques minutes en voiture de Rawaï et de la très belle plage de Nay Harn. Point de départ idéal pour les excursions incontournables que sont les iles Phi Phi (snorkeling dans un aquarium !) et la baie de Phang Gna. Un dernier mot pour terminer sur les propriétaires Shari & Phil plein d'attentions (cf les denrées dans le réfrigérateur à notre arrivée) et de bons conseils (location de voiture, excursion, etc...). Deposit, Payment and Cancellation Arrangements.
All payments of due amounts must be made by PayPal, electronic bank transfer or by cheque to the Owners' UK bank account, details of which will be provided at the time of booking. Confirmation of bookings will be made on receipt of cleared funds.
1) Security Deposit
A security deposit of 400 GB Pounds is required to be paid by the Tenant at least 30 days prior to occupancy. If this deposit is not received then the rental booking will be cancelled.
On the Tenant's departure a check will be made of any damage caused, items missing or unpaid service bills due, and commensurate amounts necessary for repair, replacement and/or settlement will be retained from the security deposit prior to the repayment to the tenant of any balance remaining.
2) Initial Booking Deposit
An Initial Booking Deposit of 30% of all rentals due for the Occupancy Period is required to be paid by the tenant at the time of confirmation of the booking. If this deposit is not received within 7 days then the booking will be deemed to have been cancelled.
Subsequent to payment of the Initial Booking Deposit, in the event of cancellation of the booking by the tenant :
- more than 60 days prior to the confirmed Occupancy Commencement Date, the Initial Booking Deposit will be refundable in full to the tenant.
- more than 30 days but less than 61 days prior to the confirmed Occupancy Commencement Date, 50% of the Initial Booking Deposit will be refundable to the tenant
- less than 31 days prior to the confirmed Occupancy Commencement Date, no refund of Initial Booking Deposit will be made to the tenant; in addition, no refund of the balance of the Rental payment received will be made unless the property owner is able to secure an alternative booking for the property for the same occupancy period.
The Initial Booking Deposit will otherwise reduce rental charges due for the final month or shorter period of the agreed Occupancy Period, except where the Tenant fails to make Advance Rental Payments due as set out below.
3) Rental Payments
For rental periods of up to 2 months, full payment of rental charges due for the whole occupancy period, less the Initial Booking Deposit paid, is required at least 30 days prior to the occupancy commencement date. If this Advance Rental Payment is not received then the rental booking will be cancelled and no refund of the Initial Booking Deposit will be made to the Tenant.
For rental periods in excess of 2 months :
- advance payment of rental charges due for the initial 2 months of the occupancy period is required at least 30 days prior to the Occupancy Commencement Date. If this Initial Advance Rental Payment is not received then the rental booking will be cancelled and no refund of the Initial Booking Deposit will be made to the Tenant.
- advance payment of further rental charges due is required at least 30 days prior to the start of each subsequent month or shorter agreed occupancy period beyond the initial 2 months' occupancy.
For the final month or shorter period of the agreed Occupancy Period, the Initial Booking Deposit received will reduce commensurately the Advance Rental Payment due. If any such further Advance Rental Payment due is not received then any remaining period of the rental booking will be cancelled in full and no refund of the Initial Booking Deposit will be made to the Tenant.
