The home of horse racing and breeding Co. Kildare is known the world over. Golfers paradise with the K Club close by where the Ryder cup was recently hosted as well as several other well known clubs such as carton house. Many horse racing festivals take place within the area are Naas, Punchestown and the Curragh racecourses.
A perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life yet within 1 hour of the night life, bars, restaurants and theatres of Dublin city centre. For kids there are many equestrian centres to choose from. The canal is only walking distance away with boating, canoeing and fishing available.
Naas / Robertstown area
Situated on the canal this pretty village boasts 4 pubs and a shop for all your goodies. Set on the canal boating, canoeing and fishing are a must do. Also a great choice of equestrian facilities within the area. The Punchestown festival in May is ever popular as is the Curragh Derby in the summer.
Close by are Lullymore adventure centre for children and plenty of canal side walks. Boats can also be hired on the canal where you can wind your way down to the Shannon.

Only 1 hour from the centre of Dublin and the Airport Easily accessible from the car ferries of Dun Laoghaire and Rosslare about 1.5 hours.
