The beautiful whitewashed two storey property is a 15 minute taxi drive from the airport at Sharm El Sheikh, in a quiet, residential area between Naama Bay and Old Sharm and ensures a peaceful environment, security and privacy inside a gated enclosure but within 5 minutes taxi ride to the colour and excitement of all the main amenities, shops, beaches and restaurants of this wonderful resort

Local shops and restaurants are within 3 minutes walking distance. Taxis are available right outside the apartment at all times.

The property has just undergone refurbishment and is luxurious and well equipped to high English standards throughout. Easily accessible shared swimming pool, (includes 'shallow end' for children) in an attractive large patio area, open 24 hours a day in all seasons.

Effective and quiet air conditioning is in every room with individual thermostat controls. The windows are fitted with mosquito shutters enabling the windows to be opened without the worry of invading mosquitoes.

In the newly decorated sitting room there are 2 new large, very comfortable sofas and new 32 inch LCD TV with satellite with hundreds of channels incluing plenty of English speaking movie and show channels plus a DVD and a selection of movies. The room has plenty of new rugs, cushions and softer lighting and lamps and is a lovely peaceful room to relax in.

The kitchen area leads off from the sitting room and has a breakfast bar / work space with new granite surfaces and is well equipped with washing machine, large microwave / grill, 4-ring gas hob, slow cooker, smoothie maker, toaster, large fridge / freezer, kettle and plenty of crockery, pots and pans. Cleaning equipment, dusters and tea towels are also provided.

There are two roomy newly decorated double bedrooms. The master bedroom has a large double bed with new fully sprung matress covered with luxury duvet and bedlinen, bedside tables and huge wardrobes with full length mirrors. There are bedside lamps, pictures, cushions and beautiful full length brown silk curtains, giving the room a luxurious and warm feel.

The second bedroom has two very large single beds each with fully sprung matresses, luxury duvets and bedlinen and large wardrobes and drawer unti / dressing table. There are wall lights and bedside lamps and light excluding curtains.

The brand new bathroom is tiled in white and grey with feature tiles and has a walk in shower room partitioned with glass divider. A new glass sink sits on a marble topped cupboard and has feature tap. All towels are provided, including luxury bathsheets, large towels, hand towels and pool towels.

Outside is the stunning swimming pool, cleaned daily and open 24 hours every day, whatever the season. We provide exclusively for our guests sun loungers with padded cushions, umbrellas and table and chairs.

The home laundered linen and towels are changed at the end of each week unless agreed otherwise with us (there may be a small charge for additional changes). There is a laundry service if requested.

We can also provide you with a local mobile phone and internet connection. There is an excellent information pack to help you get the best out of your holiday.

There is a fabulous swimming pool, easily accessible and includes shallow children's area in an attractive large patio area with beautiful flowers, trees and shrubs.

The owner has provided her visitors with sun loungers and cushions, a large umbrella, 2 tables and chairs for eating out. These are for your exclusive use. The pool and pool area are maintained and cleaned daily.

Airport transfers are available for £20 (200LE) per car per journey

You need a valid passport - you will be given a country entry form to complete on the plane.

If you wish to visit Cairo, Alexandria or Luxor you will need a separate Visa, which you can obtain from the airport on your arrival. If you are staying only in Sharm you do not need to purchase this visa.

Please also bring a photocopy of your passport to be held during your visit.

About this location

The Red Sea and Sinai region

Sharm el Sheikh is very cosmopolitan, you will find every nationality here, reflected in its restaurants, shops and night-life.

From Sharm you can take tours into the Sinai desert, the Red City of Petra, see Roman remains, an ancient monastery in the desert with its three Christian churches and experience a day with Bedouins.

The Sinai Mountains are spectacular especially at sun set. Nature Trails and Desert treks are well organised.

The waters of the Red Sea - starting in the North at the exit from the Suez Canal down to the Indian Ocean, are considered the best in the world for divers at all depths. There have been several shipwrecks here dating back to steamships carrying convicts to Australia, all of which will be well documented by the divers who can introduce you to the sport or supervise the experienced. The reefs in the coastal waters are reputed to be the most colourful in the world, snorkelling here is an amazing experience. See dolphins, take a day on the sea, there is a varied choice of boat - swim, fish and then dine one board.

Cairo and Alexandria are not close, but can be reached by train, coach and plane but at least one overnight stay is necessary, there is too much to see on ‘day out’

Naama Bay

Sharm El Sheikh stretches from the original "Old Town" in the South close to the borders of Ras Mohamed National Park to the boundaries of the Nabq protctorate in the North.

Naama Bay is the cosmopolitan area of Sharm and is where the main nightlife can be found. Top club names like Hard Rock cafe, pacha, Little Buddha and many others can be found amidst the fusion of wonderful restauarnts, bars and cafes. Stroll along the beach in the early evening, sit and eat ice cream, barter with the shop keepers and marvel at the colours and noise of this bustling area, the heart of Sharm.

Hadaba means 'hill' and is Sharms main residential area. Recently the area has developed and now boasts many excellent eateries and bars. It is the home of the Dolphinarium, Aqua Parc, Fantazia and has some excellent beaches including El Fanar.

Old Market has gone through many transformations over the last 10 years, from the distant outpost of food supplies and workshops to the vibrant hub of authentic tea shops and restaurants, spice sellers, vegetable markets and tourist souvenirs. the colour, magic and bustling environment should not be missed.

Nabq covers the area north of the airport and is about 25 minutes north of the centre. It has its own area of shops and restaurants and has many of the large 5 star hotels. Sharke bay is in thi direction but situated before Nabq; an excellent beach for divingfand snorkelling.

Hey El Noor is a peaceful residential area half way between Naama Bay and Old Market. It is easily accessible from any area and within walking distance of both places. It has its own local shops and cafes and houses the new Mosque and Coptic Christian Church

Il Mercato is a new shopping centre in the Hadaba area and is lovely for an evening stroll, a good restauarant or shopping in the wonderful designer shops. It has plenty of high street cafes including MacDonalds, Starbucks etc and you can sit for hours watchig the passers by and surfing using the free internet provided in most outlet.

Local Activities

Diving and snorkelling are at the heart of this amazing resort and Sharm on the Red Sea boasts some of the best coral and diving in the world. There are lots of excellent diving schools and safety is a main feature of the packages they offer. You can take a certified course, dive in open water, dive from day cruises and dive to see the many and varied ship wrecks in the aea

take a day on a boat, swim in the turquoise waters, snorkel and dive from the boat, eat a sumptuous lunch on board freshly cooked by the staff and take in the sun and the amazing coastal views. Watch the dolphins play in the water around your boat. Day trips to ras Mohamed National Park; along the coats line and Tiran Island are a must.

Quad biking in the desert is a great experience, drive into the mountain ranges, call out your name to hear the echoes, climb the rocks to watch the sun set and drink tea with the bedhouins

Water sports in abundance; jet skiing, water skiing, paragliding, banana boats, submarines and glass bottom boats, speed boats and sailing

Golf at Moven Pick hotel; water shoots and an excellent day out at Aqua park ride cmels; swim with dolphins; take an open jeep on a desert safari; visit st Catherines Monastary; climb the Sinia mountains to wach the sun rise; snorkel and dive from El Fanar, Sharks Bay and many other excellent beaches; dance in the great nightclubs and eat in the many restaurants; take tea and soak in the view from the cliff tops and Sadiki; visit the hotels for dinner, drinks and ice cream. Fantasia is a must with authentic belly and Egyptian dancing relaxing on souks and smoking a shisha. Walk, cycle, swim or just relax by the pool outside your lovely apartment.

"Fantastic apt with all amenities nearby"

This apt. is quite near the christian church in Sharm, it's worth a visit just to see it. The apartment was clean and tidy with everything you need provided. It's peaceful and relaxed and just 20 mins away from all the nightlife you would ever need. There is a pool with sun loungers also provided by Gill. This is a great base for a holiday and I will be booking again soon

I have been to Sharm many times. But this apartment is truly lovely. It is spacious, clean and modern. The pool area is kept Immaculately clean and is very quiet and peaceful. There are plenty of shops very close by to get all your essentials and you are very close to Old Market being just a short cab ride away or if you are feeling energetic you can walk it. Namma Bay is also a short ride away. Nageh and Towfie the 2 maintenance men are on hand 24 hrs a day and are very helpful and friendly. Anything you need just ask and they will oblige. I would definately stay here again. It is a credit to the owner Gill. Lesley Carson England
