About the home

Villa Veggera accommodates up to 8 guests making it ideal for any type of holiday with family or friends.
If you have more than 8 guests, you can also rent one of Villa Vegerra's private Guest Suites, namely Villa Camares and Villa Iro, which are both located next to Villa Accalia.
Each of the private Guest Suites accommodates an extra 4 guests. Additional rental charges will apply if you choose to book one of our Guest Suites. Please email us as (bookings@villatheamykonos.com) for further details.

Built on three levels, Villa Veggera offers our guests the opportunity to enjoy intimate moments of tranquility and relaxation in the privacy of its numerous verandas whilst taking in the rays of the Mykonos sun ensuring a unique Mykonos experience. The snug yet elegant decor of Villa Veggera features smooth aegean sea-like floors, creamy white and wooden furniture that blend in with the time-honoured traditional Mykonian design.

FIRST FLOOR

The Villa boasts a snug sitting area with an open plan kitchen that leads to a veranda with sea views which is perfect for a sunset cocktail or a late al-fresco dinner. At the back of the Villa, there is a second smaller veranda which is south-facing.

The first floor contains a charming bathroom built in traditional Mykonian design.

A cave-like hallway leads to a south-facing living-dining area. Its south-facing position ensures that this area basks in the hot colourful Mykonian sun for hours every day.

GROUND FLOOR

A Cycladic staircase leads from the first floor down to the ground floor where a single bedroom is located. This bedroom connects to a private patio area. This floor contains a second charming bathroom built in traditional Mykonian design.

SECOND FLOOR

The remaining two double bedrooms are located on the second floor, each connecting with a large veranda making it a haven for relaxation and enjoying beautiful sunsets. The first of the double bedroom is accessed through a Cycladic staircase from the sitting area of the first floor. The second double bedroom is accessed through another Cycladic staircase from the south-facing dining area.

VERANDAS

Villa Veggera has 4 private verandas with pergolas (two on first floor, two on second floor) and a private patio on the ground floor.
The Villa Thea Mykonos hillside estate boasts a large shared pool area with a bbq facility. This makes it ideal for impromptu gatherings for friends or family and tasting the freshest local seafood available.

The Aegean Islands region

The Aegean islands are a cluster of islands in the Aegean sea i.e. the sea between Greece and Turkey.

Mykonos belongs to the Cyclades group of islands. The Cyclades are the Greece of the travel posters: bare rocky islands adorned with brilliantly white cubistic villages soaring on hills above the wine-dark sea, and fringed with terrific beaches.

The Mykonos / Amygdalidi area

Over the decades, the face of Mykonos has evolved but its psyche has remained constant. It was and still remains a top holiday destination.

The beautiful golden sandy beaches, the lively atmosphere and the traditional cycladic architecture represented by the numerous small churches and the houses, along with little Venice make Mykonos an island to remember. Mykonos town consists of narrow whitewashed alleyways, small churches, white houses with wooden doors and windows and brightly coloured balconies. In the colourful harbour where small fishing boats and yachts co-exist, where taverns, ouzeris, cafes and shops. Mykonos has all the necessary facilities of a modern resort giving satisfaction both to visitors seeking an active and cosmopolitan type of holiday and those who favour a more peaceful vacation.

In terms of the most-frequented beaches, Mykonos has Paradise, Super Paradise, Psarou, Platis Gialos, Agios Stefanos, Panormos and Ornos. However, if you prefer more secluded beaches Mykonos has Lia, Kapari, Paraga, Agrari, and Agia Anna (near Kalafatis).

A day trip to the ancient island of Delos (birthplace of Apollo and Artemis) is very much recommended. The tour boat departs early in the morning and the visit lasts about four hours. Tickets four tour boats to Delos can be bought in Mykonos town.

Part of the Villa Thea collection of Mykonos luxury villas, Villa Veggera is ideally located and overlooks Tourlos Bay. We are approximately a 6 minutes’ drive from Mykonos town (‘Chora’).

We are close enough to get to Mykonos town easily and enjoy what it has to offer. At the same time, we are not ‘in’ town. This is important as it allows our guests real relaxing downtime in the luxurious hideaway of Villa Veggera.
