Master bedroom is in the loft with office and en suite bathroom, fireplace and wide screen TV. 2 bedrooms on the mainfloor have a queen size bed in one and two single beds in the other with shared adjoining bathroom. Dining room seats 8 around harvest table with fireplace. Great Room includes The cottage is air conditioned and gas heated to ensure your personal comfort. 2 Fireplaces, 3 bathrooms, 3 bathrooms, laundry room.
The property is spectacular, offering as much or as little activity as desired. Close to Algonquin Park. Sleeps 6 to 8. Spectacular kitchen and dining room. Private gazebo and gas barbecue. On the premises: fine sand beaches, docks, deck chairs canoes, paddle boats & kayaks, fire pit included. Hiking, golf, skiing, nature watching nearby.

The Ontario region
Summer starts mid June and continues til early September with temperatures ranging from 60 F in the evening to 85F plus in the daytime. Water temperatures are perfect for swimming July and August.
Autumn colours range from late September to up to early November with often warm days and crisp nights. Skiing starts in December (depending on the year). Loads of clean white snow most of the winter. Ice leaves April-ish.
Spring is unpredictable. We could have 80 degrees or snow blizzards. Always exciting in the Muskokas.
Muskoka area
Boundless activities are available 4 seasons in the Muskokas: hiking, golfing, photography, swimming, sailing, canoeing, pleasure cruises, water sports, fishing, bird watching, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and much more.
Algonquin Park is a beautiful wilderness park, with excellent main roads and lots of hiking trials for all levels and a some fascinating interpretive centres (open in summer but some accessible year round). Wildlife is plentiful and you might see moose, deer, otters, and much more close to the road.
There are some very fine restaurants in the area.
Robinson's General Store in Dorset is a fun side trip.
Golf courses nearby are world class. Lots of art tours, theatre etc.
Good shopping in Bracebridge.
The Muskokas are famed for their beautiful sunsets and breathtaking vistas.
In winter there are 600km of cross country ski trails in the area and 2,000 kms of snowmobile trails.
How to get there
Air to Toronto (Pearson International) Hire auto (any hire companies at airport are recommended) Take Highway 11 north out of Toronto (watch for billboards advertising The Landscapes) Take east bound exit onto Highway 117 Pass through the tiny village of Baysville and immediately turn left at the Landscapes entrance Check in at the Service Centre (first building from the left) and they will welcome you and provide you with VIN keys and information. (The trip takes about 2 hours from Toronto)

Three bedrooms: loft, king size bed, en suite bath with soaker tub, shower, 2 sinks, gas fireplace, wide screen TV & office (internet); main floor bedrooms have 2 twin beds in 2nd and 1 double in 3rd. 2nd & 3rd bedroom has shared en suite bath. 3rd bathroom with shower at the main entrance. Modern, luxurious, fully equipped kitchen. Dining for 8 with gas fireplace. Great room with 2-floor windows, entertainment centre, loveseat, sofa and rocker plus window seats. Great room and dining room share double faced fireplace. Property is exquisitely maintained by friendly, informative staff.
Further details outdoors: Lake of Bays is one of the most beautiful lakes in the Muskokas. Maple Cottage is truly luxurious experience. Board walks lead you around the property and to the lake, docks, and 2 fine sandy beaches. Deck chairs, paddle boats, canoes and kayaks are included. Larger boat rentals available 1km. away. Hiking, boat cruises, world class golfing restaurants, (skiing, in season), theatre and much more, all a scenic drive away. Algonquin Park with wildlife spotting, historic tours, interpretive centre, great hikes, & wonderful photography, is nearby. Private, screened gazebo, gas barbecue for personal use. Firepit on the beach for evening sing songs and fabulous Canadian night skys. Club House for social gathering includes snooker table, library and huge Muskoka fireplace. Skating rink in winter. Parking for 2 cars. Autumn colours in the Muskokas is absolutely the best in the world. Air is clean. Lake water is sparkling and clean. Beaches are suitable for children.

Maple cottage is fractionally owned. We only have 5 weeks a year available. Rental is Sunday at 5 til Sunday at noon. Weeks still available in 2009 are: April 5, July 2 and November 8. Baysville is 2 minutes away for small shopping and DVD rentals. Bracebridge is about 15 minutes away for complete shopping and restaurants. If you arrive before 5 on Sunday, you can do your shopping or visit the Club House to get a jump start on your holiday.
Conditions
Rates are $3,000 for the July week and $2,000 - $2,500 for the other 2 weeks. A $1,000 damage deposit is required.
