Laying in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains and 35 minutes from the coast the Alpujarra region of Spain has a diverse landscape where Almond, Olives and Vineyards cover the mountain ranges of the Lujar, Gador and Contraviesa.
Murtas area
Based on the Contraviesa mountain range in the middle of Vineyards a perfect place to sample the local wines that are exported all over Spain.
Murtas has the biggest church in the Alpujarra region and a famous sweet making establishment where you can buy a variety of delicious cakes and dainties, Arab-Andalusian in origin.
It is perfect for a relaxing holiday surrounded by real Spanish culture and the most friendly Spanish people
