The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Located in the South Eastern corner of Spain, Murcia enjoys 320 days of sunshine per year. Temperatures range from 18-35°C during July/August to a pleasant 12-22°C during the winter months. The Costa Calida is the coastal area of the province of Murcia on the Eastern side of Andalusia. Murcia’s claim to fame is that the World Health Organisation declared it the cleanest and least polluted area of Spain. Murcia is also home to the Mar Menor, Europe’s largest salt water lagoon. Two seas on one coastline - the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean - impressive cliffs, heavenly beaches of endless white sand, lively ports and wild coves with crystal clear water, more than 3,000 hours of sun a year and mild temperatures This is the Costa Cálida, the ideal place to spend a perfect holiday relaxing both in winter and summer.
The historical city of Murcia is a short 15 minute drive. This fashionable city has great shopping and countless kerbside bars and restaurants and there are also plenty of historical sites to visit. Murcia was featured recently in The Sunday Times 'Undiscovered Jewels Of Europe' series. Many people love Murcia for its culture, nightlife, and the festivities (fiestas) which take place several times a year and of course the Spanish kitchen. Sample the wonderful restaurants and nightlife of Murcia City or Cartagena Port or stroll along the sea fronts of the unspoilt fishing villages of San Pedro del Pinatar and Mar de Cristal. If you are feeling active, then try the vast array of water sports around the famous Mar Menor. 15 minutes away is the traditional Spanish sea side resort and spa of San Javier on the Mar Menor while the Costa Calida coastline is dotted with sandy beaches and the blue sea of the Med is just 20 minutes drive.

A 25% non-refundable deposit must accompany bookings (within 7 days of booking) to secure the reservation. The balance must be paid 8 weeks prior to commencement of the holiday along with a security deposit of £200. The security deposit will be returned to the client within10 days of the return of the keys to the owner as long as no damage or loss has occurred during the clients stay. Long term lets available. Before and after each letting the villa is professionally cleaned & the towels and linen are professionally laundered. The villa has air-conditioning and central heating – Any special requirements - if we can help, we will. Midweek and weekend short breaks will have a basic charge of £105 added to cover professional clean, fresh linen and towels (hand, bath & sheet)
