The village of Munxar is located equidistant between Victoria (island's capital) and Xlendi fishing village.

The Island of Gozo region
The island of Gozo is quieter that its large sister island of Malta, being only a 30 minutes ferry crossing. It has a number of small coves with both sandy and shingle beaches. The island is only 11 x 7 kms and it is best to hire a car for your stay to appreciate some of the "out of the way" places.
Munxar area
Victoria is the capital of Gozo, with its main Independence Square with street cafes and daily market. Around the island there are a number of villages all worthy of a visit during your stay, along with the many historical sites.
How to get there
Fly to Malta airport, where you can then cross to the Island of Gozo by ferry. We can recommend you to a taxi/transfer and car hire company. Scheduled and charter carriers leave all main UK airports daily. We have no set changeover days. Minimum stay one week

The farmhouse includes emergency lighting, wall safe, hair dryers, smoke alarms and additional safety features.

It may be that Santa Maria is already booked, don't worry we have other farmhouses on the island of similar quality, starting from £650 pw, all with ensuite facilities, private pools and maid service. Just send us your requirements

We have already recommended it to other people I dropped one of the plastic containers from the fridge and cracked it. I would have replaced it, but did not know where to go to get one from. The holiday in Gozo was everything and more that we could have wished for !. The farmhouse was beautiful, the website pictures don't really do it justice. We were made to feel very welcome by the friendly people. The pool was a God send and was maintained and cleaned on a regular basis, as was the house by the cleaning staff (extra cost) The transfers and car hire by Pauline Spiteri at Mario's was easy to set up - thanks to you. The only complaint I have is that the holiday was too short ! I have no reservations about recommending your villa and have passed your web address to my GP !
