The flat is just 200 metres from Leonrodplatz where you can catch a bus or tram and be whisked to the city centre in 8 minutes. Local shops, and one of the best bakers in Munich, and many restaurants close by cater for all your requirements. The flat is a short walk away from the Olympic park, Schloss Nymphenburg and the Dante Bad swimming sauna complex.

Munich is a great city for a holiday. It has art galleries, opera houses, museums, parks, castles, shops and much more. Munich is surrounded by lakes, which offer diving, sailing, swimming etc. and is an hour´s drive from the Alps where you can ascend Germany´s highest mountain on a cable car or have a ski in one of the surrounding resorts. The famous Neuschwanstein castle is just a 90 minute drive away for a great day out. In September/October there is the famous Oktoberfest which is well worth a vist just to see tents with 10000 boozers in them - and an amazing fun fair.

- safe cycling everywhere on mainly dedicated cycle paths in Munich - Dante Bad sauna, steam room, swimming pool and fun pool 10 minutes walk away - Schloss Nymphenburg and extensive grounds (free) close by (10 min cycle) - Olympic park - 500 metres walk away - great for cycling too. Concerts here as well. - lots of restaurants within easy walking distance. - main shopping centre, (Marienplatz) in Munich 10 mins away. Door to door tram service - no parking problems! - Theresienweise (Oktoberfest) 15 min cycle or 20 mins by tram and bus. - English cinema - 20 minute walk away (5 min tram/5 min walk)
How to get there
The flat is 45 mins journey by train (S1) and tram (20) from Munich Airport. Munich is served by Easy Jet, Ryan Air Salzburg, BA and Lufthansa. Cars can be hired at Munich Airport, and you can drive to the flat in about half an hour. Munich is a 10 hour, 1000km, drive from Calais (motorway all the way, and no speed limit in Germany). Cheap crossing can be obtained from Speedferries.
