At the entrance to Gower lies the famous village of Mumbles. This is where Dylan Thomas spent his leisure time in the Mermaid Inn, now a restaurant, and where you will see bobbing boats , enjoy harbour walks, numerous bistros and cafes and a wide coastal path for walking an cycling. Formerly the track of the famous Mumbles railway, there is a now summer train running the whole length of Mumbles and Swansea Bay that is a delightful way to get around.

Guestbook for Redcliffe , Caswell Bay.
Thank you for a really lovely holiday. It was an amazing place to be. We look forward to coming twice a year.
The walking was fantastic, Caswell is such an interesting place that we were active and busy all the time. Just sitting and enjoying the views also ensured we had plenty of relaxation too.
Our daughter learnt to swim and was engrossed in the rock pools finding starfish and anemonies.
I would like to spend time writing here.
