The South Wales / Swansea/Bridgend/Neath region

Designated as Britain's first area of outstanding natural beauty - Gower has some of the most beautiful scenery you are ever likely to see. Just 18 miles long and less than 8 miles wide the area has nearly 400 miles of public rights of way, and 23 nature reserves. Gower offers a great variety of beaches and coves attracting everyone form surfers to the more relaxed hikers and sun worshippers. The Brecon Beacons and National Park are within 40mins drive.


Mumbles area

Convenient location to explore the Gower coast line by walking directly from the property to the coastal path at Rotherslade - approx 600metres. Rotherslade and Langland Bay both approx 800 metres from flat with Cafes, a Brasserie restaurant, tennis courts and the stunning Langland Bay golf course. Series of beautiful bays continuing along the peninsula - Caswell Bay 2k, Pwll Du 4k, Pennard and Three Cliffs 7-8k, Oxwich Bay 15k, Horton and Port Eynon Bay 20k, Rhossilli 28k.

From the door a 400 metre walk past Underhill Park gets you to Mumbles Village with choice of fine restaurants, cafes, shops and Oystermouth Castle.

Cycling path accesible along Mumbles Swansea Bay. Lesiure Centre , Vue and UCI cinemas and central Swansea within 2 -3 miles. The Gower Coast is an area of outstanding natural beauty and very well worth exploring.
