Ard Aoibhean is located just 5 minutes’ walk from the beach, on the outskirts of the town of Mulranny, often referred to as one of Mayo"s best kept secrets. Quiet and peaceful, yet only 5 minutes drive from tthe town, the house has easy access to all amenities, including the beautiful town of Westport, , and many excellent restaurants for eating out.

The house benefits from its elevated setting providing stunning sea views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With 2 double and one twin bedroom, together with open plan dormitory upstairs, the house is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

beaches, swimming, fishing, golf, walking, hiking, cycling, etc.

Refundable breakages deposit of 100 Euro required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
25% of rental fee due six weeks before your stay to secure booking.

Access from Mulranny, through to Newport bay, to Westport bay, and beaches along southern coastline to Louisburg. Beaches and rocky shoreline, many bays/tidal inlets landward of clew bays' many islands

It is a good starting point for many of the local activities.
It has a blue flag beach. Excellent facilities for swimming, surfing, golf, walking, hiking, etc.

Getting There
By Car

From Dublin follow the road to Castlebar. In Castlebar take the Newport Road. At Newport follow the road towards Achill Island and the house is !0 Kms from Newport on right hand side of road approximately 1 Km from Nevins Pub and Restaurant.

By Train

You can get the train from Dublin to Westport and get a taxi or bus from there to the house.
