"Heaven waking up to the view of Clew Bay winter or summer."

We have stayed in Fernhill 3 times in 2013 so that says it all really. 1st time was Feb mid-term to try it out as we weren't going abroad in the summer & would take for another week in summer if happy. We were delighted with it and booked for 1st week of August. After that and knowing that it was well heated for winter we decided to go the week after Christmas. In winter it's very cosy and we still found lots to see & do in the surrounding areas. You can pay to use the pool in the hotel opposite so the kids love that. We had a wonderful summer week because the weather was great so we just went down to the local beach everyday. It's perfect for keeping an eye on the boys. At the house we enjoyed Barbecue's outside and sitting out watching those incredible views. You could never see all that that part of Mayo has to offer. Fernhill is completely stocked with everything a family could need; kitchen utensils, stereo, tv, washer dryer, bikes, toys, jackets, wellies. You only have to pack a small amount of clothes & take off. We are finally converts to holidaying at home no matter what the weather & Dublin to Mayo is not a bad drive. Fidelma the caretaker is so friendly & knowledgeable & the owners are great too, leaving little welcoming gifts & setting a fire in the winter. Hope to be back many times more.

Delighted that you had such a good time in Fernhill, it is so nice to welcome guests back again and again. Mulranny is a magical place.
