The West Country region
Untouched by mass tourism, a real survivor of Daphne Du Maurier's 'Vanishing Cornwall'. The coastline is truly magnificent, with small sandy swimming/surfing coves and rugged cliffs adorned with wonderful rare plants and flowers, making excellent walking country.
Mullion Cove Whether you’re in search of a cliff-top ramble, a picnic on the beach, or the chance to see some remarkable wildlife, The Lizard is a perfect destination. Trenance is a relaxing retreat and the perfect base for exploring the unique and magical Lizard Peninsula.
The Lizard peninsula is Cornwall's most southerly point and its geology, landscape and flora are very special too. The breath taking scenery makes it an ideal holiday destination for families and experienced travellers alike. Nowhere else in Cornwall has such a density of nationally recognised Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs) or regionally important County Geology Sites (formerly known as RIGS). The main reason for this is that the rocks of the Lizard are different from the rest of Cornwall. As for array of small beaches along the coast, you will be spoilt for choice. The Lizard Peninsular is excellent walking country with many walks from Trenance.

"Good clean accommodation ."
Our second visit, however 5 years apart. Tranquil setting in a fab part of cornwall.
The accommodation is clean if a little dated., but is fully equipped with everything you may need, even has free laundry facilities.
We took our dogs and this accommodation beats any other dog friendly we have stayed in..
A great holiday at a very reasonable price.

"excellent, as always."
spacious, well equipped cottages in a superb setting. The Smithy has a lovely private garden and you are only 3 steps from the massive bonus of the good sized, sheltered outdoor swimming pool. A short easy walk into Mullion Village with its shops and good quality Pub/restaraunts and a 5 minute stroll down to Mullion Cove Harbour and beach. The beach at the Cove is as good a place to be on a sunny day as anywhere in the world that we have visited. Easy road access to Lands end/Penzance/Falmouth etc just adds to overall British Holiday(weather) package.
We have been as a family and as a couple and have no negative comments about the Trenance Farm Holiday experience. The owners care and it shows..
I have written all the above and still didnt mention Kynance Cove or the coastal walks or Flambards(theme park-best for younger children, but still worth a go for much older "kids")...ps; try the cafe on the Lizard, looks like a standard sea side cafe but the food definitely isnt standard....
Thank you for the great comments and we look forward to welcoming you back to Trenance.
