About the home

Given a 5 star rating on TripAdvisor for 2009, 2010 & 5 star plus Excellent for 2011, with only a short walk to the beach.

Welcome to our web site on the beautiful island of Barbados. Our Villa is set amongst tropical gardens on the west coast of the island and is located around a central swimming pool in a village setting, which has been created to reflect the image of typical Barbados Chattel house design and it is only a short walk to the beach. Please ask about our two centre holiday option including the private members Sugar Cane Club Hotel & Spa, or Bayfield House B&B should some of your dates not be available.

The Non Smoking, single story, one bed villa has its own private terrace, with gardens and deck to the side and rear, and has views of the pool. The kitchen is fully equipped, and air conditioning is fitted along with ceiling fans. The bathroom has a walk in wet room with shower, and built in hair dryer.

The lounge has one set of french doors tropical garden/pool side opening out on to a nice deck, and full width opening doors to the front, is fully furnished and equipped with Sony entertainment systems.

The bedroom has french doors to rear garden, has a wooden queen sized four poster bed, a large wardrobe, mirror, bedside cabinets each with its own lamp, a wooden blind fitted to the window and there is a suit case holder.

There is ample free car parking on site. Car hire can be arranged via www.topclassrentals.com

The villa has a fitted security safe and CCTV system if required.

Complimentary Internet services are provided and can also be found in Speightstown library and are free of charge, or you can pay to surf in Holetown.

Within walking distance is an upmarket spa called " Indulgence". Why not treat yourself?

Now part opened in Holetown is a new High-end Retail Concourse known as " Limegrove" which houses brand names shops like Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Gucci, Calvin Klein, Armani and Cartier, please visit their web site at www.limegrove.com for more upto date details.

We have our own villa management team, Anita is our agent, Dave looks after the maintenance, Sophia the house keeping, and Esra the gardens, they have between them considerable experience in looking after and managing this type of villa. The villa has just been totally re-decorated on the inside, has new bespoke bedroom furniture including a queen size four poster bed, along with new soft furnishings in the lounge and dining room.

Maid and maintenance service is provided.

Further details outdoors:
There is an outside shower in the pool area and two separate Male/Female toilets.

We may be able to arrange at cost a day pass for private membership to the Sugar Cane Club Hotel & Spa, with restaurant, swimming pool, gym and beach facilities, subject to availability.

Conditions

A non-refundable 25% deposit is required at time of booking, the balance to be paid two months before the date of arrival.

Payment is accepted by cheque or by electronic transfer of the money from bank to bank. and may be made in the following currencies: UK pounds, Euro's or US Dollar.

Payment can also be made by Visa, Mastercard or some debit cards in UK pounds sterling only via our Merchant Service provider.

We can also accept Email Payments via Paypal by credit or debit cards, bank transfer and Paypal accounts.

The St Peter Parish region

Port St Charles, Mullins beach and Cobblers Cove are close at hand and sports enthusiasts will be happy to hear that both Sandy Lane and Royal Westmorland golf courses along with the David Lloyd tennis centre at Sugar Hill are a short drive away.

The Barbados "Platinum Coast," which extends through Saint Peter from the parish of Saint James just to the south, has helped to make Saint Peter a tourist hot spot. The parish is surrounded with white-sandy beaches including the world famous Mullins Beach. It contains many rolling hills and terraces some of which are still covered by sugar cane, which was the island's chief cash crop during its colonial period.

The Mullins Bay area

The villa is between Holetown and Speightstown, and is in walking distance of Mullins beach, where you can hire out jet ski's or take a short boat trip to see the turtles. The beach has sun loungers for hire and has a nice beach front restaurant, serving ice cold cocktail drinks, and good meals.

We may be able to arrange a day membership pass for two adults for the private members Sugar Cane Club Hotel & Spa. This includes discount off food and Spa treatments, use of Gym & Squash Court and includes use of their beach facilities at Lower Carlton, please ask for pricing.

The Parish of Saint Peter is one of eleven parishes in Barbados. It's one of only two that extends to both the east and west coast.

To see the Barbados Green Monkey, visit the Barbados Wildlife Reserve which is across the road from Farley Hill National Park.

Beaches: Barbados' crystal clear waters are cool enough to refresh but warm enough to relax in and sip on an ice cold drink like a rum punch or lemonade made with freshly squeezed limes and Barbados sugar.

Historic Houses of Barbados: As you travel around the island you will see many examples of the Chattel House, a distinct form of architecture that is unique to Barbados. The design of these small wooden houses dates back to Emancipation, when the former slaves were allowed to build a house on a piece of plantation land.

Restaurants: One of the culinary delights is undoubtedly the high quality local fish. The fishing industry in Barbados has been well managed to meet the ever growing demand of the restaurants. You can sample Flying Fish, Barracuda, King Fish, Tuna, Marlin and Snapper, enjoy.

We had a wonderful holiday and a wonderful time at your villa. It was exactly what we had wanted - perfect. The Sugar Cane for our final night, was a great suggestion - a lovely, quiet place. And when we weren't using the little yellow buses, we employed Alvin's services regularly, including for a tour of the east coast. He was an absolute delight. We chose the beach in front of the new St Peter's Bay compound, we had the whole beach entirely to ourselves everytime we went.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and we were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The staff were extremely courteous, friendly and accommodating. Mullins Beach is a very short walk and one of the best beaches on the island. Overall, this was an excellent place to stay and very affordable! And the service you get for the price is second to none. We would definitely go back if we were to visit Barbados again in the near future.

Located in an excellent position right by the gorgeous clear waters of the well-kept swimming pool. The villa was amazing and peaceful.
