About this location

The Dorset region

Beutiful region sheltered by the Isle of Wight to the south, Hengistbury Head to the west, Hurst Castle and Point to the east and The New Forest to the north.

Located next to Christchurch Harbour is the town of Mudeford, with its historic quay, small fishing industry and the famous Mudeford Beach huts only a short ferry ride away. There are plenty of places to go and eat within walking distance of 'Driftwood'. Kyaking, horse riding, fishing, golf, pubs, bird whatching and wind surfing. Christchurh town is very historic with its ancient abbey sitting alongside the river Avon. It has plenty of modern facilities.
