The Donegal region
The Inishowen Pennisula boasts many hidden gems and has been acclaimed as one of Ireland best kept secrets.
The locality provides many activities some such activities are Golf within 10 min drive, Horse Riding, Water Sports, Hill Walking, Shore Walk, Pitch and Putt, Isle of Doagh Famine Village, Moville Pottery, Arts and Crafts, Aran Knits, Museum, Derry City of Culture 2013, Ferry service.
This is a truly stunning beach and surrounding area! At other beaches in Donegal, you may have to walk a considerable distance to dip your toes in the shallow tide. Not so with Kinnagoe! The tide is always in and waves crash all day long. Such is the nature of this remarkable place. Golden sands, sometimes without a footprint, and absolutely no pollution of any kind. Bright, clean, pure water. A miracle in this day and age.
Dean Jobb of Canada's “Globe and Mail” visited Kinnagoe in the summer of 2010 and he wrote the following in a big centre spread titled “One perfect day at Kinnagoe Bay” :
“Kinnagoe Bay's the prettiest place in Ireland… a postcard-perfect beach stretches out below… Cliffs surround the beach. High above, only a handful of houses – one turns out to be a rental cottage – enjoys the million-dollar view…”

"A perfect & relaxing weekend."
A very clean and spacious house with a large living room and kichen and comforable bedrooms each with ensuite and walk in wardrobes. A fantastic sea view at the front and only a 3 minute drive to the beautiful bay with great waves for anyone who enjoys to surf.
the weekend could not have been any better.
The owners of the house were also very friendly and came out of there way to come to he beach while we surfed to let us know that they had left turf for us at the house. That is what I call good customer service. Kinnagoe Bay is roughly 10-15 minutes from Moville so be sure to be stocked up with supplies as there is no local store within walikng distance.
My only critisism would be that the living room furniture was a little dated but each of the bedrooms were well presented, clean and modern.
I will gladly return to this home and would certainly recommend it to any couples or groups of mature friends.

"Magnificant Place, Beautiful House Home, Welcoming Stay!*****"
I would highly recommend this house home to anyone considering a relaxing break in stunning surroundings. My husband and I took our two young children and some relatives with us. On the drive to the property we were blown away by the beauty of Kinnegoe Bay and surrounding areas.
Helen and John couldnt have been more welcoming and even had the fire lit for our arrival.
The house couldn't have been cleaner and had alot more space than we thought it would. There was lots of information available on local tourist attractions and even novels and word searches were left for us... A nice touch.
On the Saturday we took the kids into Moville to 'Leisure Land.' It was only 10 Euro for an unlimited ride wrist band for 2 hours. Excellant value for money! The kidsparticulary enjoyed the dodgems, soft play area and merry-go-round whilst we had a few games of pool and a few games of bingo!
We were recommended to visit Rosatos in Moville for food. We weren't disappointed! The pub had a busy vibe and the staff were very helpful. The food was delicious and the servings were excellant. All in all we thought it was good value for money.
We then ventured down to the beach for an evening stroll and returned again on Sunday. If you are like us and you are a beach lover you will relish this beach. We have visited many beaches in Ireland and the rest of the world but this is exceptional.... one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever visited. I can't describe just how beautiful this beach is...It in itself is a big enough reason to visit this beautiful part of the world, with friendly people and a house home like that of Helen and Johns.... The receipe for THE PERFECT WEEKEND.
