About the home

Ground floor:

Living room with wooden floor and open fire with sea views. Dining room/kitchen with tiled floor. Utility room. A separate toilet. 1 double bedroom which sleeps three. A wet room which is wheelchair friendly.

First floor:

2 double bedrooms, one en-suite with bath and walk in wardrobe, one en-suite with shower and walk in wardrobe. The landing has a seated area in which the overhead velux window allows the evening sun to shine through ideal for relaxing with your favourite book and a glass of wine.

Bed linen and towels inc. Elec cooker. W/machine. F/freezer. Cot, high chair and stair gate available on request. Lawned garden. Parking (2 cars). No smoking.

The Moville / Kinnagoe Bay area

This is a truly stunning beach and surrounding area! At other beaches in Donegal, you may have to walk a considerable distance to dip your toes in the shallow tide. Not so with Kinnagoe! The tide is always in and waves crash all day long. Such is the nature of this remarkable place. Golden sands, sometimes without a footprint, and absolutely no pollution of any kind. Bright, clean, pure water. A miracle in this day and age.
Dean Jobb of Canada’s “Globe and Mail” visited Kinnagoe in the summer of 2010 and he wrote the following in a big centre spread titled “One perfect day at Kinnagoe Bay” :

“Kinnagoe Bay's the prettiest place in Ireland… a postcard-perfect beach stretches out below… Cliffs surround the beach. High above, only a handful of houses – one turns out to be a rental cottage – enjoys the million-dollar view…”

“Beautiful house with amazing views.” Stayed her for a week in July 2011 and had the luck of 3 days of fantastic weather so could have been in the South of France. Although remote this house was clean, well designed and the owners, Helen and John, could not have been more helpful. The only draw back we found was no microwave and apart from the tv nowhere to play music. Also no phone signal or internet which once again not a bad thing if you are looking to get away from it all. Our family of 6 range from 11 to 50 years and we all had a great time. Definitely need a car especially if older or disabled people as very hilly but all round the views and the place itself make up for all that. The lovely beach is a short drive away or hilly walk. Everyone's so friendly and all wave as you pass by. Thorougly recommend this to anyone, family, golf parties or just looking for a rest.. Just dont forget the milk for its about 2 miles for the next one!
