The property itself has beautiful sea-views and is a short walk from the golden strands of Kinnagoe beach on the Inishowen peninsula. This tranquil setting provides the perfect getaway yet it is within a 10minute drive of both the fishing port of Greencastle (with a ferry service which links to Magilligan) and the bustling town of Moville.
A 15 minute drive along the coast brings you to the lovely seaside village of Culdaff whilst a 30min drive in the opposite direction will take you into the historic city of Derry.
The nature of the property makes it ideal for large families or families wishing to holiday together yet attain a degree of privacy. It has spacious communal areas with plenty of activities for the whole family whether you are looking a quiet spot to pick a book from the library and experience a little nostalgia with the old record collection, or you fancy a game of pool, darts, table football, air hockey, some computer games or even just some simple board games for the whole family.

The main kitchen dining area in Clare's house has a traditional Belfast sink, a gas cooker and a solid fuel stove. Annie's house has smaller utility kitchen with a gas cooker, washing machine and worktop area.
Clare's house which is accessed by a rear door has two double bedrooms one of which has patio doors, a bunk bedroom and a twin room in an open plan attic area which contains a pool table and PS2 console.
Annie's house has a double room and a bunk bedroom. It has a large open plan lounge containing a large wood burning stove and there is a mezzanine area which contains a small library and record player with a large selection of records.

There is an enclosed patio area suitable for toddlers which some outdoor toys. The patio is perfect for barbeques catching the evening sun with both furniture and a barbeque provided. There is a spacious garden to the front with a wooden bench allowing you to savour the beautiful panoramic scenery, and a picnic table for dining al fresco.
The Province of Ulster region
County Donegal presents an ever-changing spectacle of landscapes and seascapes set against a backdrop of mountains and moors, with evidence everywhere of traditional Irish culture. Donegal boasts a vast rugged coastline softened regularly by a succession of beautiful beaches with golden sand and clear fresh waters. Inland, Donegal is wild and unspoilt with winding roads leading to never-ending spectacular vistas.
The Inishowen Peninsula provides plenty of activities for visitors. Whether you enjoy a round of golf, a hillside walk, or a pint of Guinness against the backdrop of some Irish traditional music, you will find somewhere within a short drive of Annie Clare's Cottage to meet your requirements.
Greencastle is the local fishing port with bustling pubs and beautiful walks along Lough Foyle. Moville provided an array of night-life and restaurants and a seashore playpark for kids.
Kinnagoe Bay is a secluded beach known for being the location of the wreck of the Spanish Armada ship "Trinidad Valencera" in 1588; in memory of which a plaque is mounted. The beach is accessible by a weaving road from the top of the hill.
There are local golf courses in Ballyliffen and Greencastle which are short drives away. The ferry port in Greencastle runs hourly ferries to Magilligan providing a gateway to the North coast seaside resorts of Portstewart and Portrush.
There is horse riding available in Lenamore stables in Muff, and day trips to Doagh visitor centre and Inch Island are definitely worth a visit. Kayaking trips are also available in nearby Moville.
