Sitting proudly above the famous and popular fishing port of Mousehole, Porth Enys House is an incredibly unique property, affording panoramic sea views, its own 1/3 mile of private shore line and arguably one of the best sea views in Cornwall. Views span across Mounts Bay, St Micahel's Mount and across to The Lizard.

Porth Enys is full of charm and character with a flowery history set within its 20 acres of land. The sub-tropical climate of South West Cornwall has always bless this area of the UK with the first blooms of spring, with Mousehole one of the largest producers of fresh flowers to London's markets. Fresh flowers were carefully transported by train from Penzance to London each morning in time for the London markets' early starts. Evidence of Porth Enys' floral past can still be see wandering around the beautiful gardens and acres.

Virtually every room provides its occupants with a breathtaking view of the coastline. The interior of the property is incredibly quirky and beautifully finished, boasting a Home Cinema room with an enormous pull-down screen and projector for those ultimate film nights in.

Mousehole, the very popular and beautiful Cornish fishing village is just a walk down the hill where you can walk around the harbour and explore its heritage or dine at some of the great restaurants and pubs. Where ever you go, you can look out to sea and look across to the iconic St Michaels Mount.

There are boundless things to see and do around this fantastic corner of Cornwall. Take a trip to Land's End and the crystal blue seas of Porthcurno before catching a late matinee at the spectacular Minack Theatre or hop across to St Ives on the north coast to enjoy incredible fresh seafood and locally caught fish.

The Cornwall region

Cornwall forms the westernmost part of the south-west peninsula of the island of Great Britain. The peninsula is bordered to the north and west by the Celtic Sea, to the south by the English Channel, and to the east by the county of Devon, over the River Tamar. Cornwall has become a very popular holiday destination for its scenic landscapes, fantastic beaches, charming villages, great food and laid back way of life.

Popular activities include surfing, walking the coast paths, dining out, cycling, windsurfing, kayaking, fishing and golf.

Mousehole is a small picturesque fishing village between Penzance and Lands End. It was once a bustling port and today it still retains much of its charm. Mousehole's narrow streets are now filled with small galleries, shops and restaurants that huddle around the inner edge of the harbour. There is a small sheltered beach in Mousehole Harbour or travel around to the beautiful Lamorna Cove. Within a short drive you can also go to Porthcurno beach, Porthchapel, Sennen, Pednvounder beach, Marazion or you can drive across to some of the St Ives beaches.

Penzance is an ancient market town which has kept much of its character and originality. It is now filled with shops, supermarkets, banks, restaurants and bars that focus around the quay and the stunning coastline with views of St Michaels Mount.
