This is one of our most popular villas because the owners have thought carefully about what's important to holidaymakers.
It's a relatively new house, built in the traditional Provencal style, next door to the owner's property. You're in walking distance of the bustling (by Provencal standards!) village of Mauries, with a backdrop of the stunning Alpilles Hills. The village is surrounded by olive groves as it's right in the heart of a region famous for the quality of its olive oil.
The owner obviously has a flair for interior design and has created a very comfortable 2-bedroom villa, ideal for a family of 4 or 2 couples.
It's beautifully furnished using local colours, fabrics and tiles, air-conditioned and has a shower room and separate toilet.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Bouches-du-Rhone region
It's a great location for touring and leisure; there is tennis in the village, a golf course just on the doorstep of the village, as are the cycling, walking and horse riding paths across the beautiful Alpilles
Mauries is also situated in the heart of one of the best the Olive growing regions of Provence - a panorama of Olive Groves with stunning limestone scenery as the backdrop surrounds the village
You’ll find the nearest larger supermarket at St Martin de Crau, just 9km away.
Mouries area
Mauries is a village well serviced with bakers, butchers, grocers, bank and a post office.
There is a weekly market, cafes, bars and restaurants, all of which are within walking distance of this house, only a stroll away at 600m from the centre of the village
Markets can also be found at a host of other local towns; St Remy de Provence, Maussane and Arles to mention just a few.
How to get there
By Car - Mauries is situated approximately 30 minutes drive south of Avignon, 15 minutes north of Salon-de-Provence and 20 minutes to the east of Arles
By Air - Marseille and Nimes Airports are the nearest - approximately 50 minutes drive away. From 2005, there will be new budget flights operating to Nimes with Ryanair from both Luton and Liverpool. Easyjet also fly to Nice which is a 2 hour drive and Marseille which is a 50 minute drive.
By Train - The high speed TGV service runs directly from London or Paris to Avignon, approximately 25 minutes away

Further details indoors: This villa is very well equipped with facilities to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
The kitchen has a fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher and ample crockery for 4 people. There is a dining table and 4 chairs and the living space has 2 leather sofas, coffee table, T.V and video.
One bedroom has a double bed, the other 2 singles and both are beautifully decorate with plenty of wardrobe space.
There's a fully tiled shower room and separate toilet (which cleverly houses the washing machine).
A big bonus if you're visiting in the summer is the air-conditioning, which can provide a welcome break from the warm Provencal sunshine!
Further details outdoors: Access to the swimming pool is through a secure gate, just beyond your private and shaded terrace. The pool measures 8m x 4m with steps leading down from the shallow end. Once you’ve cooled off in the pool, why not strike up the BBQ, pour a glass of local Rosé and soak up the setting of the sun over the Alpilles Hills around you!
Conditions
Included in the rental prices are water, electricity (Including winter heating).
Bedding and towels are also included in the price, as well as end of stay cleaning.
A 'caution' of 200 euros is taken on arrival and returned following inspection of the apartment when you leave
The owner can provide a cot and high chair upon request, no animals are accepted and this is a no smoking property.
Please arrive after 3pm on day of arrival and leave before midday on your day of departure. There are 2 secure car-parking spaces.
