This brand new, 1 bed apartment is perched on the top of wooded hillsides in the village of Mougins-le-haut, where you can experience the charms of a true Provencal village. Yet only 4km away is the famous Croisette in Cannes and all the other beauties of the Cote d'Azur can be found within very easy reach. The well appointed apartment has a fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops and all new built in appliances. The large bathroom has a bath along with a mixer shower tap and a basin set into a marble top. The bedroom has traditional wooden shutters, a kingsize bed and a build in wardrobe. The airy lounge opens on to a balcony. Comfortable seating and atmospheric lighting combine to make a relaxing setting.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

Apart from exploring the sandy beaches of Cannes, the region offers other contrasting pleasures. There is easy access to the fast A8 (pay road) which takes you to Monaco and the Italian border within 45 minutes. Other attractions in the area include: Grasse - the centre of the perfume trade where there are several perfume houses to visit, Antibes - with its castle and millionaires' yachts moored in the harbour, Vallauris - the village of 100s of potters and St Paul de Vence - a classic mediaeval village built on a rocky outcrop behind the coast

Nearby old Mougins is surrounded by stone ramparts and fortifications. It prides itself on its art and gastronomy, discovered by Picasso and boasting renowned restaurants. Mougins-le-haut enjoys stunning views of the coast towards Nice and the spectacular foothills of the alps as they sweep down to the coast. Next to the village is the Valmasque, a vast area of natural beauty popular with walkers and mountain bikers.

Close by are prestigious golf courses including the Royal Mougins Golf Club and the Cannes-Mougins Golf Club, which is just 2 minutes drive.

February sees Carnival in Nice and the Citrus Festival in Menton (featuring floats elaborately decorated with oranges and lemons), May sees the Cannes Film Festival and Christmas brings tradtional log cabin market stalls and fairs to the quaysides.

The Italian fitted kitchen is equipped with integrated fan assisted oven, halogen hobs, extractor fan, large fridge/freezer, washing machine and ample cupboards and drawers with all necessary crockery, cutlery and utensils. The dining table is in granite. The tv receives 15 sky channels. A traditional French click-clack serves as the second double bed. There is ample storage for suitcases and luggage.

A garage is provided as well as on street parking. The apartment is situated on the second floor and can be accessed by both lift and stairs. Within the village there are restaurants, grocery shop, and pharmacy. Inclusive sports facilities include tennis courts, swimming pools, sports centre, mountain walking and jogging trails and a boules pitch.
