It is truly a place where you can go skiing in the morning and head to the beach in the afternoon (quite likely seeing a few celebs on the way ....)
The Mougins area
Mougins, one of the most exclusive cities in France, is known for its charming old town, its wealth of amazing restaurants, and its golfing. Mouans Sartoux, also charming, is a little more down to earth, with a busy high street and square, more casual open-air dining, and a lively cinema/mediatheque hosting film festivals and live music performances.

Enjoyed being first guests in this property. A nice convenient location in the wooded suburbs of Cannes, just a couple minutes from the main Cannes-Grasse route, and within a short walk to the lovely high street of Mouans Sartoux. Walked to dinner several times in old Mouans Sartoux where there are some nice restaurants. There is a good pizza place almost just across the street. If you are interested in cooking yourself, a Lidl is about 300 meters away. It really is right in the heart of the Cote d'Azur. It is just a few minutes from the beach but also within a short strike of fun to visit and quaint villages like Valbonne and the hilltop Mougins itself. The house is as advertised, warmly decorated with lovely Asian furnitures and textiles, beautiful rugs. The grounds are lush and greener than in the photo, Appears the grass has grown up since the winter repairs were done. The house is not huge but offers three sizeable bedrooms on the upper floor, and a well-appointed lounge/dining room with seating for eight on the ground floor. Smallish kitchen Secure residence and very helpful hostess, all our requests were dealt with immediately. Would stay here again. |
