The villa has a spacious living room and large kitchen with all mod cons. From these rooms it overlooks the huge terrace with its own large private pool, 11m x 5m with a shallow end perfect for the children. Here there is a built in barbeque and bar area with separate toilet and changing room for the pool. Furnished with sunbeds and a table and chairs for alfresco dining this enables you to live outside all day. With one double and two twin bedrooms, the villa is ideal for families, either for complete relaxation or with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Costa Tropical/Granada region
The Granada coast enjoys a sub-tropical climate, with average daytime temperatures of 18° Celsius (65°F) in winter and 25° Celsius (78°F) in summer The Sierra Nevada mountains protect the Costa Tropical from the extremes of summer heat and winter cold that the inland cities, such as Granada, experience. The Costa Tropical has the warmest winter temperature on mainland Europe. It is even warmer here than on the Costa del Sol. In winter, there are daily highs of 18°C and nightly lows around 10°C. It is possible to ski from December through April. You can enjoy the slopes in the morning and sunbathe on the beach in the afternoon. Many of our guests have been surprised that even in January it can be necessary to use sunscreen. Granada is a beautiful university city with a slightly bohemian atmosphere. Granada is well worth exploring as there is much more to see than just the Alhambra. The main street is called Calle de los Reyes Catolicos. Here you will find many boutiques, tapas bars, and even an Arab bath that you can actually use. There are 2 main beaches in Motril. Playa de Poniente is quite lively. One may practice water sports in the marina and nautical club, or you can attend an animated fish and seafood auction right in the port before sampling the goods in a nearby seafood restaurant. Playa de Granada provides a relaxing contrast to the Playa de Poniente. Next to the fine sands of this beach is the Costa Tropical's only golf course, Los Moriscos now an 18 hole course. This is a nice long beach that is the ideal place for a walk while enjoying the sunset. There is always plenty of free parking here. This beach is 10 to 15 minutes away from the villa.
Motril / Puntalon area
Motril is in the heart of the Tropical coast of Granada, just 40 miles from Granada city the provincial capital. Motril a dynamic town and still growing, offers everything necessary for an unforgettable holiday where the great hospitality of its people makes every visitor feel instantly at home. Today Motril is a modern town of some 60,000 residents, in constant development thanks to its sea port, to the cultivation of sub-tropical fruits as well as other important agricultural and industrial activities and tourism. Motril is a growing town where there are an endless variety of options for diversion throughout the whole year. Bars with live music, beach bars, pubs and night clubs where enjoyment is guaranteed for the whole family, young and old alike. The heart of the town is a comfortable and compact place for shopping with a wide variety of businesses from clothes and shoe shops to jewellery and gifts, not to mention the coffee shops with lovely chocolate cakes and bars still serving free tapas. There are many well known national and international shops and boutiques. Motril is the gateway to the Mediterranean and boasts some 20kms of beaches, wonderful landscapes with large cliffs dotted with watch towers from Muslim times. Motril is well worth the visit to discover the pretty streets and pleasant surroundings, a lot more to discover than your first impressions
How to get there
The nearest airport to the property is Granada only 1 hours' drive away which have various budget airlines flying in. Malaga the more popular airport with flights in every day is only an hour and a half 's drive away. Car hire from both airports is easy to pick up.
