Stretching along the Moscow River with impressive Stalin-era building, this area is popular amongst Muscovites due to the perceived ecological benefits that the proximity to the river offers. The neighborhood’s advantages are the close distance to the city centre, spacious old courtyards and clean air. There are a number of green parks in this area, among which the Luzhniki Sports Complex. On the other side of the river are Gorky Park and the ancient Neskuchny Sad with its picturesque summerhouses dating back to the late 18th century.
