The Central Russia/Moscow region
Stretching along the Moscow River with impressive Stalin-era building, this area is popular amongst Muscovites due to the perceived ecological benefits that the proximity to the river offers. The neighborhood’s advantages are the close distance to the city centre, spacious old courtyards and clean air. There are a number of green parks in this area, among which the Luzhniki Sports Complex. On the other side of the river are Gorky Park and the ancient Neskuchny Sad with its picturesque summerhouses dating back to the late 18th century. Riverboats busily glide up and down the river during summer months.
This upscale riverside neighborhood is perfect for families with children. Upper-end Soviet-era buildings are set just densely enough to leave plenty of room for green parks and refined green lawns. Apartments typically have high ceilings and large windows, with some offering great views onto Frunzenskaya embankment!
Moscow area
The Novodevichy Convent with its red and white crenellated walls and golden domes make it one of Moscow's most attractive monasteries. Situated a short walk from the apartment, inside a bend in the Moscow River, the Convent's leafy gardens are a pleasure to stroll in during the summer months and a welcome retreat from the bustle of the city.
There are also several good restaurants, cafes and bars along with several cinemas and MDM entertainment centre, which often features musicals. Lange supermarkets are available on Komsomolsky Prospekt. Metro stations in this neighborhood include Park Kultury, Frunzenskaya and Sportivnaya.
