This 4 bedroomed, 4 en-suite bathroom apartment has been designed with all the features of a typical Savoyard chalet with the added benefit of being ideally located right next to the piste and a 2 min walk to the Telepherique. It is virtually ski in - ski out being located right next to the telepherique and within 25m of the piste home.
The property is suitable for large families or groups and can sleep 10. It also benefits from a large fully fitted kitchen and reception area with seating for 8 to 10 with log fire ideal for self catering for larger groups. Other benefits include fully fitted utility room with washer and dryer, DVD plater, IPOD docking station, Freeview TV and ample parking as well as a double garage for 2 cars.
There are baby gates on the stairs and a high chair can be provided if required.

The Morzine area
Morzine itself is a busy little Alpine town with a lively spirit. Steeped in tradition, traditional wooden chalets, slate roofs and stone foundations ensure that the village retains is character and Savoyard charm.
In the winter, the Portes du Soleil area links together up to 14 resorts spanning across two countries, France and Switzerland. There is enough variety across the skiing domain to entertain both strong skiers and snowboarders during the week.
In the summer, Morzine offers mountain bikers some of the world’s best mountain biking terrain, boasting up to 380kms of marked trails with varying degrees of technical skill required. With such variety on offer, Morzine has been proud to be a venue for the Tour de France and host to Mountain biking championships. Some other summer activities include : paragliding, golfing, fishing, canoeing and tennis.

Geneva Airport is a little over 1 hour by road from Morzine (Approx 90Km)

Easyjet from Gatwick, Luton or Liverpool;

Other airlines that fly to Geneva are: BMI Baby, KLM, Lufthansa, Air France, Alitalia
Once you arrive you can either get the bus, hire a car or get a private transfer.

By Road from the UK:
Nearest Ferry: Calais to Morzine is (800Km) and can all be travelled by motorway except for the last 40km.
The auto route tolls cost approximately £35 each way per vehicle and with petrol around £3.25 per gallon and diesel around £2.25 per gallon in France, fuel costs will be from £35 each way per vehicle (diesel) or from £50 each way (petrol). Therefore for a group of ten people travelling in two cars, the return trip cost can be as low as £28 per person.

"We've stayed in this apartment several times and can't fault it! It's very well-equipped and beautifully decorated. A great base for families with lots of excellent skiing, sledging and lovely walks (it's also walking distance into town). Free shuttle bus to other ski runs leaves from just outside the door. "Although this is technically an apartment, the minute you step in the door you feel like you are in a stand alone chalet. This is due ot the size and the fact that It is on 3 levels (with a mezzanine area where you come in the door) and the high ceilings and general feeling of space. It has been furnished with great attention to detail and really feels like "home" and not at all like the usual apartment for rent. (March '10)
Location is great because it is virtually ski in and ski out. I have stayed here many times and it is a very quiet location. But you can still walk into town (or catch the last ski bus down, and take a taxi back) for the nightlife.

We had a great time thank you! We thought your apartment was lovely, really nicely done out and very well equiped. My Mum cooked several meals and was very complementary about how well equiped the kitchen was. We would recommend this property (Feb '11)
Your chalet is really superb and well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. In the past we have either rented chalets where we have had to drive to the slopes or apartments on the slopes with very little living space, so with 9 of us it was great to have so much room and easy access to the slopes.
