About the home

Beautiful 3 bedroom apartment . 800m from the centre of Morzine. Stunning Alpine views south facing balcony. On 2 levels: lower level has two bedrooms (1 double, 1 double + single), bathroom, separate WC, lounge area (sofa bed), newly fitted kitchen with fan oven, microwave and dishwasher, dining area seating 8.

Upper level has third bedroom (1 double). We supply a TV, video and DVD player with a wide range of Videos, games and books to suit all ages. Easy walk to Pleney and Super Morzine ski lifts, restaurants, bars, shops, night-life in central Morzine. Supermarket 200m.

We are an eight minute walk from the centre of Morzine with its bars, restaurants and fabulous shops. the supermarket is only a two minute walk towards the town.

The Pleney and Super Morzine lifts are only a few minutes walk or if you prefer the free ski bus stops 100m down the road and runs every 10-15 minutes.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region

Situated mid-way between Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva, Morzine is stunning for Alpine scenery, nestled between forests and summits. Here life is leisurely, and the village has lost nothing of its original charm and Savoyard way of life.

Ideally placed right in the middle of the Portes du Soleil, Morzine is the gateway to a marvellous winter playground of 650 km of ski-slopes. In summer, these slopes become sign-posted footpaths for trekking and MTB.

The Morzine area

Today's resort has kept the appearance of a village from another time: wooden façades, carved balconies and slate-covered roofs. The town offers a wide range of restaurants (over 30) and a host of boutique style shops towards the old town and even a good standard of ice hockey games to see in the season.

For apres ski there are plenty of bars, try Buddha Bar, Sherpa, The Dixie or The Cavern. Opera and Paradis are Morzine’s two nightclubs that will always provide you with stories the following morning.

There are 2 main ski areas accessible from the village The Pleney with many easy greens, blues and reds plus a couple of black runs at Nyon. This lift also links to Les Get and Monte Chery, with its snow park. The other area is accessed via the Super Morzine lift 650m from the apartment which takes you up towards Avoriaz and on into Switzerland if the mood takes you.

In the summer there are a wide range of activities for all the family.

Golf: This area boasts that its courses are the most spectacular in France, with top quality greens, giving opportunities for beginners and pros alike.

There's superb fishing in both the river and lakes, canoeing and white water rafting. And for the kids there's Electric Go-Karting, The Indiana Adventure Park , an equestrian centre and Quad bikes for kids and parents

The covered Palais and Park des Sports has skating (Dec-May), table tennis, skate-boarding, tennis, fitness equipment, a climbing wall and sauna and jacuzzi.
