About the home
Chalet Dominique boasts an excellent, highly convenient location and spacious living accommodation. The chalet is located less than 100 metres from the main Pleney ski lift. Although in the middle of Morzine the chalet is set back from the road and is surprisingly quiet at night. The rest of Morzine's attractions plus the shops, restaurants and bars are all within an easy stroll. The chalet's living and sleeping accommodation is shared between the two main floors of the chalet and a studio apartment on the lower ground floor. The dining area is spacious and warm with a wood burning fireplace enhancing the cosy feel. The chalet has a large garage and a lovely garden. The garden is perfect for a barbecue in the summer and building a snowman in the winter

On entering the chalet there is a porch which has ample storage space for ski boots. Next you enter the ground floor which is open plan with a dining area, comfy sitting area and breakfast area. In the sitting area we have a flat screen TV, a DVD player ,a CD system, some books and a few board games to keep everyone entertained. Wifi has just been installed for 2008. The kitchen is well equipped and large enough to make meal preparation a pleasure. Upstairs are four bedrooms, a bathroom and a WC. The studio apartment has three single beds a shower room and a WC. There is also a WC on the ground floor. The chalet has a large garage and a lovely garden.
Further details outdoors:
French windows from the dining room open out onto a terrace with teak garden funiture. From here you have views onto the Pleney slopes so yo can watch the skiers in the winer and the paragliders in the summer.
There are two parking spaces outside the garage.

The Haute Savoie covers the Northern part of the French Alps. This area has welcomed travellers and tourists in both Winter and Summer for centuries. Annecy, Chamonix and Geneva (just over the border in Switzerland) are perhaps the most well known of its towns.
In Summer the climate is warm and sunny, just right for an active holiday in the clear mountain air!
The Morzine area
Morzine is a centre for both Winter and Summer holidays. In Winter we attract skiers and snowboarders from all over the world. In Summer the mountains provide a fantastic backdrop to the town which offers many activities to the active holiday maker. Perhaps the most popular today is mountain biking, but we prefer the hiking, the pool and the tennis.

We had a wonderful time at Chalet Dominique. We have stayed in Morzine twice before and have always had to travel by bus into the centre for the Plenney lift, but this year we could walk to the lift in 3 mins and drop our son off at the ESF on the way. The location is excellent as are the facilities, I wholly recommend anyone visiting Morzine to stay there, We'll be back. Simon Roberts

We had an amazing holiday from start to finish, Ben and Beth were a great help and made us feel very comfortable. Chalet Dominique was beautiful and located in the best spot right next to the Pleney lifts and town centre & shops, I would recommend Morzine and Alptitude to all my friends and will be coming back again next year which is just not soon enough! we were non ski ing Grandparents in a family staying at chalet Dominique.It was perfect for us sleeping in the charming and quiet basement flat,but could be part of the action !

Chalet Dominique is perfectly located close to skilifts and the center, very cosy and has beautiful mountain views, the village is charming and picturesque and is just an hour and a half drive from Geneva airport. We enjoyed skiing, there are enough slopes to ski in a different area every day of the week. We are glad that we used transfer offered by Alptitude - we didn't need to spend time at rent-a-car, drive and find our way, the minibus was quite comfortable and spacious and it was cheaper than weekly car rental. Another good thing - we rented ski in a shop next to the Teleferique and stored the equipment there in a warm locker for free, which means we didn't have to walk in ski boots at all!!! All the people at the resort were very friendly and helpful, we had really great time in Morzine and already miss it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chalet Dominique. The location couldn't have been better, almost adjacent to the pistes, near the shops and restaurants but set back enough to be quiet and tranquil. We were two families both with toddlers and the layout was excellent, couldn't fault the chalet or the service. We would definitely consider coming back to Chalet Dominique another year.
