The Telemark 1 apartment is one of two apartments located in the middle of town just opposite the patisserie and chocolate shop. Restaurants, shops, cafes, bars and discos are all within walking distance. The Telecabine to Avoriaz is just 50m away and the "petit train" stop 40m away which takes you to the Pleney lift and the ski schools. Telemark 1 with its two bedrooms is perfect for a family or a small group of friends, The superb location means you do not need to use a car at all during the week.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region
The Haute Savoie covers the Northern part of the French Alps. This area has welcomed travellers and tourists in both Winter and Summer for centuries. Annecy, Chamonix and Geneva (just over the border in Switzerland) are perhaps the most well known of its towns.
In Summer the climate is warm and sunny, just right for an active holiday in the clear mountain air!
Morzine area
Morzine is a centre for both Winter and Summer holidays. In Winter we attract skiers and snowboarders from all over the world. In Summer the mountains provide a fantastic backdrop to the town which offers many activities to the active holiday maker. Perhaps the most popular today is mountain biking, but we prefer the hiking, the pool and the tennis.
How to get there
Geneva is the nearest airport, the journey to Morzine takes about 1 hour 10 minutes. Several Low Cost Airlines fly to Geneva, follow the links;

Further details indoors: The comfortable living area has a well equipped kitchen ( gas hob,oven fridge, dishwasher) dining table with seating for 6 and comfortable seating around a coffee table.We provide entertainment for the evenings with a TV, dvd recorder, music system, books, games and a small selection of dvds.There is one delightful main bedroom with a double bed and French doors out onto a balcony. The mezzanine is reached by a sturdy ladder stored just to the side of the kitchenette when not in use during the day.It has three single beds. Finally there is a bathroom with a bath and a separate WC. Outside there is a ski store.
Further details outdoors: A balcony runs along two sides of the apartment. The apartment shares a large lockable ski/bike store with Telemark 2 ( a larger Alptitude apartment next door). Bikes can be washed with the hose provided in the parking area in front of the two apartments.

Really impressed with the accuracy of the description of apartment Telemark 1 from the website. For a ski chalet, the Telemark is extremely spacious and has a really warm welcoming feel about it. Location is fantastic, supermarket, ski hire, ski lift all within 50 yards. Very well equipped kitchen (especially dishwasher!!)everything you need and more. We had our ten year old with us and the television, DVD, video and Cd player were a great help. This was the first time we have used Alptitude, Having travelled all over Europe using many company,s and operators I can honestly say the quality of sevice and accommadation has been first class. From the on-line booking procedure to the return airport transfers, the cleanliness and quality of the apartment to the useful welcome pack, Steve and Alptitude have made this one of the most enjoyable holidays our family have experienced. We stayed in Telemark 1 for a skiing break. It was really well situated in the main steet through Morzine, close to all the shops and restaurants. This did mean some noise from passing traffic and late night revellers, but this was more than compensated for by the easy access to the slopes. The (free) little train stopped at the nearby corner to take us to the Pleney lift within minutes. The Super Morzine lift is even nearer. The apartment was superbly equipped with several sets of crockery, a teapot and ENGLISH MUGS! The ladder up to the mezzanine was tricky to climb after sampling the local wine, but the bedroom was comfortable enough once you were up there. The bath was very small and we tended to use the shower instead.Hot water was plentiful and the heating was super-efficient. Communication before the holiday was great and Steve had our ski passes ready for us on arrival.
