Home description

From just €600-€700 per person, per 7-days catered to base your holiday in this lovely central apartment. Alternatively, book the chalet self-catering and set your own pace .

The Penthouse is available for catered ski chalet holidays. The chalet operator has a reputation for employing staff with a level of experience above what would normally be expected of a chalet holiday. For a discerning guest, this means that the food is generally excellent and surprisingly different. Your day begins with an extensive continental and cooked breakfast, a healthy start to a day of exercise. Après-ski is served by the log fire as you arrive back at the chalet, followed by a lavish four-course evening meal. An example menu is available on request.

Alternatively, The Penthouse is available in it's entirity as a self-catered apartment.
The apartment has a private entrance at rear of the property, and a lift for access to the penthouse itself. The main floor is dominated by a large open-plan area stretching from dining room at one end to a real log fire at the other. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen built into the wall, with everything you could expect to find. The lounge area is warmed by a real log fire and for entertainment there is a flat-screen television and dvd player.

The accommodation comprises four bedrooms, with two on the entrance level and two upstairs. The two upstairs bedrooms both have full bathroom en-suites and quirky character being directly under the eaves. The downstairs bedrooms would be perfect for children, or mixed groups, as they have bunks and single beds. All the bedrooms are tastefully decorated, and all the en suites are very modern.

There are four ski-bus stops within 1 minute walk of this apartment. People staying here can easily ski from one of the many lifts on either side of Morzine. Morzine is a thriving ski-hub enjoying more and more popularity each season. With quick access via Telecabin from Morzine to Avoriaz, you can access the Portes-du-Soleil with it's 650km of piste and great off-piste. You can also easily access the Nyon and Le Pleney ski lifts leading over to the Les Gets resort area.

The apartment occupies half of the top floor of a small three floor block directly facing the River running through Morzine. It is approximately 50m from the Mairie and Church. There are literally dozens of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

The apartment is located 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva Airport where there are many rental car companies. Alternatively we can organise private transfers for guests. The bus-stop for long-distance buses from Geneva is approximately 50m away.

Morzine area

Situated mid-way between Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva, Morzine is stunning for Alpine scenery, nestled between forests and summits. Here life is leisurely, and the village has lost nothing of its original charm and Savoyard way of life.

Ideally placed right in the middle of the Portes du Soleil, Morzine is the gateway to a marvellous winter playground of 650 km of ski-slopes. In summer, these slopes become sign-posted footpaths for trekking and MTB. Not forgetting the miles of open spaces surrounding the ski-runs from where you can head off into the middle of nowhere…

Either for a few days or a longer holiday, both idlers and sports fans will find everything they need for a real break with family or friends - everything for a perfect, peaceful and pleasurable holiday. Sharing, laughing, playing, discovering, with loads of thrills, fresh air, great food and views. You’ll have a ball!

Air - The closest airport is Geneva, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away. There are frequent flights from the UK to Geneva with most major carriers. At Geneva Airport there are several car hire companies, alternatively we can arrange private transfers on your behalf.

Drive - The chalet-hotel is accessed via a decent road which is cleaned and snow-cleared 3-4 times a day during season

Conditions

Catered Minimum: There is a minimum of 8 people (or the price thereof) required to book the chalet as catered.

Child Price (Catered): There is a 15% discount for children under 12.

Infant Price (Catered): Infants under 2 are free of charge and a cot will be provided.

Cleaning Fee (Self-Catered): There is an additional €60 cleaning fee due at the end of your stay.

Security Deposit (Self-Catered): There is an a security deposit of £250. This is usually left in the form of an uncashed cheque with the operator on arrival, and returned on your departure.
