Perfect for larger groups of travellers, or for mixing a group of many families, Chalet Starski is a chalet in a class of it's own.
Chalet Starski is a beautiful big chalet renovation on the high road above Morzine. Spread out over 4 levels, this chalet has eight flexible en suite bedrooms, suitable for any size of family or group. Experienced chalet hosts are on-hand to take care of every aspect of your stay, from your champagne arrival to putting on your skis each morning.
Chalet Starski's bedrooms have all been finished to a very high, modern standard. As the photographs below clearly show, the attention to detail in the finish speaks for itself. Almost all the rooms have access to a terrace or balcony, from which you can enjoy the view over Morzine, and every bathroom is a crisp clean oasis of tiles. Chalet Starski has a large games room, a beautiful log-fire lit lounge and dining area, and a second lounge area above on the mezzanine perfect for children. There is a further second TV-room which, when not being utilised for overflow guests, is a great safe place for children to spend an evening, or alternatively a quiet retreat for a couple or family seeking a moment out of the rush.
Chalet Starski is a catered chalet specialising in serving local specialities or other carefully chosen menus. The catering commences each day with a hearty breakfast with all the breakfast faire you could want, including pastries, yoghurt, porridges and fresh fruits. Upon your return from skiing, you will welcome by an afternoon tea in front of the real log fire. The evening meal that follows is 4 courses served with a selection of fine wines, followed by coffee and chocolates, or a drink from the bar.
People staying here can easily ski from one of the many lifts on either side of Morzine. Morzine is a thriving ski-hub enjoying more and more popularity each season. With quick access via Telecabin from Morzine to Avoriaz, you can access the Portes-du-Soleil with it's 650km of piste and great off-piste. Closer still, you can also easily access the Nyon and Le Pleney ski lifts leading over to the Les Gets resort area.
The staff are on-hand to provide lifts to and from either of the two main lifts in Morzine, and collect you again at the end of the day.
The chalet is located 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva Airport where there are many rental car companies. Alternatively we can organise private transfers for guests.

Morzine area
Situated mid-way between Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva, Morzine is stunning for Alpine scenery, nestled between forests and summits. Here life is leisurely, and the village has lost nothing of its original charm and Savoyard way of life.
Ideally placed right in the middle of the Portes du Soleil, Morzine is the gateway to a marvellous winter playground of 650 km of ski-slopes. In summer, these slopes become sign-posted footpaths for trekking and MTB. Not forgetting the miles of open spaces surrounding the ski-runs from where you can head off into the middle of nowhere…
Either for a few days or a longer holiday, both idlers and sports fans will find everything they need for a real break with family or friends - everything for a perfect, peaceful and pleasurable holiday. Sharing, laughing, playing, discovering, with loads of thrills, fresh air, great food and views. You’ll have a ball!
The resort also has a bustling summer timetable including mountain biking, golf, walking and caving amongst others. It is rumored that total number of visitors is actually greater in the summer season. The municipal swimming pool is olymipic size and caters for the bustling tourist flock, but it immaculately maintained.

Air - The closest airport is Geneva, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away. There are frequent flights from the UK to Geneva with most major carriers. At Geneva Airport there are several car hire companies, alternatively we can arrange private transfers on your behalf.
Drive - The chalet-hotel is accessed via a decent road which is cleaned and snow-cleared 3-4 times a day during season

Chalet Starski changes over on Sundays during season. Rooms are available from 4pm, and must be vacated by 10am on change-over day. There is a €150 euro deduction per person in price for full occupancy of rooms 3 (Family Suite Bunk Room) and 8 (Quad Room). Children from ages 2-12 also enjoy a €150 euro reduction in price, and will be served children's dinners. Infants under 2 are a flat rate of €150 euro.
