Home description
Situated in a quiet back street in the old part of Morzine just a short walk from the centre of town. The ski lifts in winter and the swimming pool, tennis courts, ice rink and horse riding centre in summer can all be reached on foot. Chalet Lisa is close to one of Morzine's supermarkets making it unnecessary to use a car for shopping.
The ground floor is light, airy and spacious with an open plan design. A well fitted kitchen with all the usual appliances including a dishwasher makes preparing meals a pleasure. A dining area looks out onto the terrace, the sitting area with TV, video and music system provides plenty of comfy seating grouped around a wood burning stove. Upstairs are three charming bedrooms, one of which is en suite.
The garden is a real feature being safe, spacious and sunny. We expect many of our guests will spend much of their time in the garden relaxing and enjoying the views.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region
The Haute Savoie covers the Northern part of the French Alps. This area has welcomed travellers and tourists in both Winter and Summer for centuries. Annecy, Chamonix and Geneva (just over the border in Switzerland) are perhaps the most well known of its towns.
In Summer the climate is warm and sunny, just right for an active holiday in the clear mountain air!
Morzine area
Morzine is a centre for both Winter and Summer holidays. In Winter we attract skiers and snowboarders from all over the world. In Summer the mountains provide a fantastic backdrop to the town which offers many activities to the active holiday maker. Perhaps the most popular today is mountain biking, but we prefer the hiking, the pool and the tennis.
How to get there
Flights Morzine is close to Geneva airport, the journey from airport to chalet takes around an hour and ten minutes. There is an excellent choice of airlines flying to Geneva. Follow the links below to each:
Minibus Transfers If you are flying to Geneva Airport we can arrange for you to be met at the airport and taken direct to your chalet or apartment - see our website for details..
Car Hire We recommend you visit www.holidayautos.co.uk who, as a broker, have arranged excellent deals with the main car hire companies at the airport. A small car costs around 170 euros per week and a 7 seater van around 400 euros per week.
Easycar no longer offer car hire at the airport themselves but now operate as a broker. They may be a useful alternative, so check their prices at www.easycar.com
Whoever you choose be sure to reserve your car for collection on the Swiss or International side of the airport. This is a much more convenient location than that on the French side.
Coach There is a regular coach service from Geneva Airport to Morzine. This costs around 55 Euros for a return fare. Visit www.sat-leman.com for timetables and on line booking in English.
Ferries If you choose to drive to Morzine and need to cross the channel we recommend you try www.speedferries.com, operating from Dover to Boulogne they offer excellent value and a quick crossing.
Trains The nearest train station to Morzine is Thonon les Bains, from Paris the TGV runs down to Geneva. To reach Thonon you should change at Bellegarde. There is a coach service from Thonon to Morzine. Visit www.sat-leman.com for times.

Had a fabulous stay at chalet lisa, extremely comfortable and well located with a short stroll to the plenay lift and traditional restaurants. Recommend the Sherpa for a beer or two on the route home. This will have been our 4th time in as many years to Morzine and without doubt this has been the best of all accommodation. Only 4 of us on this trip but the chalet would easily accommodate at least 8. Nice big kitchen diner if you feel like eating in and mulling over the days activities. Bathrooms could do with a face lift but their adequate and the waters always hot. Log burner works a treat. Resort as always exceptional with a fabulous range of skiing and boarding for all levels. Make sure you explore Nyon and Avoriez. WE will be back. The Davies family

Have just got back from a week staying in Chalet Lisa and wanted to let you know that we had a great time. The chalet is great, a lot bigger in reality than it looks on the pictures! It comfortably fitted our party of 6 adults. The service from Alptitude was also fantastic, we had an accident with the shower and there was a plumber there within half an hour to sort it all out. We will definitely be booking with Alptitude for next year.

Hi Steve + Lynn please add our comments below Our holiday commenced with our arrival at Geneva Airport to Bright Warm sunshine and the experince of a transfer with a Master Snowboarder Harry Kingsley Jones is one cool dude (if you like listnening to the Rocky theme) On a serious note all of our party had a fantastic time in Chalet Lisa and the Skiing despite the weather ( lack of snow) was enjoyed by all The chalet had everything you could possibly hope to find and was very conveniently located by the Morzine / Avoriaz Lift , a local Pub , some wonderful resturaunts and the Shopi I would highly reccommened this chalet for a party of six it is ideally located nd would have no hesitation in re booking - I hope later this season Many thanks to Steve and Lynn Norris for a delightful holiday we could not ask for more from Mark , Paul , Michelle , Chris and Jen

Just a quick thank you to Steve & Lynn. We stayed at both chalet Buchille and Lisa and have to say they are both ideally placed for a great week on the slopes. (Although i thought i would never, ever say this but it snowed a little bit too much for us on our trip!!) Both chalets were really well fitted out and had everything we imagined and more. We had an amazing time at Chalet Lisa. It’s warm (furnace-like if you get the stove stoked!) and we ate there every night including a turkey dinner on Xmas day. All three bedrooms were comfortable and with two shower rooms there is flexibility also. On top of that, being nearly new means that the place feels spick and span and we had no problem with any of the facilities. Highly recommended (in fact we have to several people)
