Chalet La Grange is set in a quiet (one-way) residential street just a stone’s throw from the main Tourist Office hub of Morzine: everything is close at hand, and this is the advantage our guests really appreciate. The Pleney slopes, where the ski schools are situated and where most beginners would be having lessons, are just 2 mins walk from the front door, and the Super Morzine lift only 4 mins walk. All the restaurants and bars are a short distance away: there's even a gourmet restaurant (La Grange) below the chalet!

The Rhone/French Alps region
The Portes du Soleil is the largest linked ski area in Europe, and with over 650km of piste and 220 lifts, with slopes facing North,South, East and West, there's plenty of skiing or boarding to keep all abilities happy.
Morzine is the largest of the resorts within the Portes du Soleil and is at the heart of the French side of the vast domain.
Morzine provides something for everyone. Beginners can gain confidence on the gentle and scenic terrain of the local Pleney, Nyon and Les Gets areas, as well as the easy wide runs on Super Morzine. Intermediates will find few areas to match the wide-open runs of Avoriaz and the more challenging wooded runs of the Chatel valley.
Chamossière and Mont Cheri both offer good long uncrowded reds and blacks. Experts will want to put themselves to the test of the famous Swiss Wall, not to mention the Combe du Machon and Renard bumps, as well as many exciting off-piste possibilities.
The well-known 'Circuit' of the Portes du Soleil, incorporating Avoriaz, Planachaux, Les Crosets, Champoussin, Morgins and Chatel, can be covered in a day by most intermediate skiers or good snowboarders.
