Chalet Morzine is a wonderful fusion of old and new. The lounge has a wonderful cosy atmosphere with traditional beams, an original stone surround fire place and huge conservatory bay windows at the dining end, where you can admire the stunning panoramic views over Morzine village and the slopes. Get the open log fire roaring and sink into a comfortable sofa with a wine from the honesty bar, or some afternoon tea. Relax with a book from the collection, surf the net on the free wireless internet or listen to music on the docking station. Your holiday is yours.
The bedrooms at Chalet Morzine are all light, airy and spacious with balconies overlooking Morzine village or the Pleney ski slopes. We have retained original beams and recycled original wood to create an alpine yet stylish impact.
Our luxury designer bathrooms all have showers and 5 out of 6 have baths, so you can have your own relaxing après ski soak. Fluffy towels, luxurious l'occitane bathroom products, dressing gowns and unlimited hot water all add to the luxury after a hard day's skiing or snowboarding.
This is a great space on the ground floor, away from the main lounge; popular with both adults and children alike, there is plenty to keep you occupied. Two separate televisions, one for the Wii and Wii board and one for the PS2, SKY television and DVD player. A collection of DVD's, PS2 and Wii games as well as numerous handsets are there for your convenience. An excellent sized table football, a variety of board games, toddler toys and books ensures it's a room well appreciated by everyone.
“Our aim at Chalet Morzine is that you feel totally pampered and relaxed, whilst feeling you are staying with friends. We want you to feel completely 'chez vous, chez nous'.”

FAMILY FRIENDLY LOCATION
A peaceful tranquil spot, set on a private road with no cars or traffic around, so an incredibly safe and secure chalet. An enormous field, just in front of the chalet, makes a great sledging spot and enables children to play out & have safe fun in the snow. The close proximity of Chalet Morzine to the centre means that families can pop in and out of the village easily; have a sleigh ride around town, a ride on the carousel and then pop back for a hot chocolate and a play at the chalet. Brilliant convenience for everyone.
CLOSE TO SKI SCHOOL AND CHAIRLIFTS
Either ski to the ski school or walk it, very easy to do either. The Chalet Morzine location gives you the flexibility to leave when you are ready, not when the minibus is. If the children aren't able to ski to the lifts, we have a facility with our preferred ski shop in town, to leave your skis there. Even easier!

The elevation of Chalet Morzine affords the most spectacular views over the whole of Morzine and the Pleney pistes. All bedrooms and the lounge have balconies, so you can appreciate the views from all angles. Watch the skiers or snowboarders on the slopes or just enjoy panoramic views of the village. 30 miles away55 minutes drive from the chaletTourist website for Yvoire
A medieval walled village on the French shore of Lake Geneva and cited as one of the most beautiful villages in France. The fortified village which is totally pedestrianised has unique boutique shops and gorgeous restaurants offering the famous ‘lake perch’. The Five Senses Labyrinth Garden and the wonderful waterfront are the main highlights.
The Morzine of today
The true appeal of Morzine is that it has still kept the appearance of a village from another time; wooden facades, carved balconies and slate-covered roofs. This true Alpine charm and real traditional French village ambiance, is what sets Morzine apart from other man-made summer Alpine resorts to keep visitors returning time and time again.
The commune of Morzine is responsible for Avoriaz, hence why it is often referred to as Morzine-Avoriaz. However they are two separate villages. Morzine is based at 1,000 metres and Avoriaz village is at 1,800m. It is our snow sure resort in Winter and hosts the golf course and other activities in the summer. It is a car free zone and has very distinct architecture. Well worth a cable car ride up to have a look around and experience the fabulous views.
Morzine is just quite simply a great place to be in the summer. The village bustles not only with locals, but with walkers, mountain bikers, road bikers, adrenalin seekers and families with children, all soaking up the summer ambiance and feeling well away from it all. The heart of Morzine centres on the square at the Tourist Office. Here you will find the children’s carousel, the start of the horse-drawn carriage rides and the numerous tours offered by the Tourist Office, such as the tour of the old town. There are plenty of clothes and souvenir shops to keep the avid shopper happy too.
There are plenty of restaurants in the village from the typical Savoyarde restaurant, where cheese and ham is the order of the day, to Italian style, gourmet style and up to take-away fish and chip places (our favourite being Mamma’s!). Bars are plentiful with the most popular bar of the moment being ‘Le Coup de Coeur’, where coffee is accompanied by lovely free cakes and your glass of rose with some local hams and cheeses. The regular haunt for the mountain bikers is ‘Bar Robinson’ where the infamously strong ‘Mutzig beer’ is served by a very authentic older French couple! Nightclubs and late bars are open for the night owls.
As well as all the adrenalin and adventure in Morzine, there are plenty of cultural sites to visit too.
Abbaye in St. Jean D’Aulps
The ruins of this beautiful abbey date back to the monks in 1094. Discover its history through the museum and exhibition centre on the site. Free entry with the Multi Pass and the free Balad’Aulps bus runs there.
The Mechanical Music Museum in Les Gets
Over 550 mechanical musical instruments items are gathered in a magnificient 16th Century house in Les Gets. Each piece is displayed in different rooms, according to the time, context of their creation and use, with instruments such as carillons, street organs, mechanical pianos, gramophones and jukeboxes. Free entry with the Multi Pass and the free Balad’Aulps bus runs there.
Guided tours of the old town, cheese-making demonstrations, visit the cheese dairy and even go to the farm to watch the cows being milked at the plateau of Nyon.
