About the home
Beautiful duplex apartment located on the top floor of apartment block in the centre of the resort. The ski lift at La Grande Terche is just 50m away. The apartment is comfortably decorated and has a lovely double bedroom, a double bed on the mezzanine and a separate room with bunk beds. With 3 metre high picture windows in the living area the views from the apartment are stunning. Along with the bathroom there is another separate toilet. Having the benefit of a large hallway all coats skis and snowboards can be kept close at hand. There is a good sized heated swimming pool within the apartment block for use along with a table tennis room.
The Village has a few bars, restaurants a small supermarket and ski school and is only a 5 minute drive away from St Jean D'Aulp and 7km from Morzine.
.After a day’s skiing or mountain walking you can relax in the indoor heated swimming pool.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region
The Rhone/French Alps offer great holidays all year round. From skiing and snowboarding, to cycling and climbing. The Winter season has some of the best ski resorts in Europe including Morzine-Avoriaz, Les Gets and Chatel. There are also the smaller ski resorts such as Drouzin le Mont less than 5km away.
Summer offers suberb mountain biking. There is also swimming, white-water-rafting, paragliding and hiking, plus plenty of other outdoor activities for all the family.
The Morzine / La Grande Terche area
La Grande Terche is a small family village, being a mixture of old farm buildings and tastefully designed apartment blocks set in a beautiful backdrop of mountains and stunning scenery, the apartment is in a central position in La Grande Terche. Geneva airport is approx 75 minutes drive and Lake Geneva is only 40 minutes drive. Part of the Portes du Soleil ski network - including Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz and Chatel - with La Grande Terche having its own extensive ski area . There is a ski-school office in La Grande Terche and nursery slopes for beginners at the top of the lifts. There are some 40km of pistes entering 3 different valleys, and 14 lifts directly accessible from the village. Local places to visit are Morzine, Les Gets and Avoriaz for skiing, snowboarding and winter paragliding. In the Summer these places offer mountain biking, paragliding, golf, rock climbing, swimming, fishing and many more activities for all the family.
There are also the lovely towns of Evian and Yvoire on the shores of Lake Geneva, only 30 mins drive away. Other places of interest are Chamonix, Mont Blanc and Annecy which are all within an hours drive.
