Our one bedroom apartment is the perfect place to stay to unwind after a active day mountain-biking. Self-catering, the apartment sleeps four comfortably, with the accommodation comprising of a living room with sofa bed, open plan dining room and fully equipped kitchen, double bedroom, modern bathroom with bath, separate WC, locker and parking space.
Situated just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Morzine, you have access to a local supermarket and a large choice of restaurant's and bars. There is also a free bus stop that stops right outside the apartment block, so you can easily catch a bus to the main lifts (le Pleney and Super-morzine). Morzine gives you access to the Portes du Soleil and links directly with Avoriaz and Switzerland.
The apartment is conveniently situated on the ground floor with direct access to your own outside space - so has plenty of space for storage of mountain bikes and convenient to not have to climb any stairs.
Being a short walk from the centre of Morzine you really get the best of both worlds as you get a feeling of being close to the town with but with the luxury of peaceful surroundings.

The Rhone/French Alps region
Situated between Paris and the Côte d'Azur, on the border with both Switzerland and Italy, and offering access to two international airports (Lyon and Geneva), impressive rail connections and a vast motorway network, the Rhône-Alpes region is at "the crossroads of Europe".
Boasting eight natural parks and peerless sites such as Mont Blanc and the Gorges de l'Ardèche, the Rhône-Alpes offers a wide range of different landscapes: mountains, vineyards and gentle valleys, fields of lavender and olive groves.
Every form of sport is readily available, set against an impressive natural backdrop: hiking, mountain biking or even paragliding and canoeing.
Besides hosting three Winter Olympics games due to its being the largest ski area in the world, the Rhône-Alpes is the second most important golfing region in France with over 60 courses.
Enthusiasts of art and culture will not be disappointed by the region's Villes d'Art: Lyon, which is classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage site, Annecy, Grenoble, Chambéry, and Saint-Étienne.
And last but not least, connoisseurs of good food and wine will be spoilt for choice by the range of local specialties available to taste along with a Beaujolais or a Côtes du Rhône, and by the sheer number of famous restaurants (with Paul Bocuse at the top of the list) in the region.
Morzine-Avoriaz is in the heart of the Portes du Soleil one of the largest ski areas in the world. Set between Geneva and Mont Blanc, Morzine has a beautiful alpine charm and has retained much of its heritage and culture.
Should you be a powder lover or someone who prefers to take it easy on the slopes, the region boasts an unbelievable 650km of groomed pistes linking 14 resorts in France and Switzerland, all available on one ski pass. The area offers unlimited skiing to both experts and beginners and can be accessed using the lifts from the town.
For those who are looking for an alternative, Morzine offers a variety of other activities including, ice skating on an indoor ice rink that is used for ice hockey matches, spas and beauty treatments, walking, snow shoe walks excellent shopping, cinemas and of course many bars and restaurants.
Morzine-Avoriaz is one of the top resorts in the world (ranked 5th by the Daily Telegraph Travel Awards) with slopes to suit everyone.
* Beginners can learn in safety in the Lindarets bowl or on the gentle slopes of Pleney.
* Intermediates are spoiled for choice and can ski/board to a different resort each day.
* Advanced skiers can tackle the tour of the Portes du Soleil seeing how many resorts we can get to in one day, and for the more adventurous there are off-piste trips e.g. to The Valley de la Manche.
We are also only a short drive from Evian and Thonon les Bains both spa towns on Lake Geneva. There is also the charming old town of Annecy less than an hour's drive away with its canals and excellent restaurants and shops.
From the apartment, there is easy access to the whole Portes du Soleil ski region. The free ski buses pass close by the apartment which will take you directly to the Super Morzine ski lift which gives you access to Avoriaz and to the main lift in Morzine (Le Pleney).
Alternatively, If you have a car, you can drive directly to the lifts yourself with access to four different resorts which can be reached within 10 mins.
Nearest airport is Geneva, transfer time 1+ hour. Transfers from Geneva airport are a good option as an alternative to the bus or hiring a car. Drive time from Calais 8+ hours.
