Guestbook for Chez Sally

1st guests- July 09 Moira and Family
"Our family (which included an elderly lady, a teenager and a 12-year old) has just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable week in Barry and Sally's charming and superbly equipped house. We have been renting holiday properties all over Britain and continental Europe for years, but this house was equipped to a higher standard than any we have previously visited. All the rooms were beautifully styled, well furnished and spotlessly clean. the range of kitchen equipment and serving dishes was exceptional; even the kitchen knives were sharp, which is pretty much unheard of in our experience (our number includes an extremely fussy chef).
The owners, Barry and Sally, live next door, and were the most helpful and friendly people you could wish for, supplying all kinds of practical assistance, and entertaining local anecdotes. Barry even lent us his bike a few times.
The rural setting was lovely and peaceful, but there were also many shops and supermarkets within easy range.
All in all, an outstanding property which I cannot recommend too highly."

G Family
I would recommend the gite and hosts for any further stays. A very beautiful building in most idyllic countryside with the most hospitable hosts.

H Family
The cottage was perfect for us and the owners so friendly and helpful.

W Family
A beautiful very well appointed cottage in an ideal setting. Not your usual gite - more like home from home. Enjoyed our morning run along the country lanes and through the woods. A most enjoyable week.

P and P-17/10/09
The BEST gite we have ever stayed in and we have seen a few from Isigny to Corsica. A wonderful, peaceful
atmosphere in a beautiful setting with superb hosts. We wanted for nothing and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful design. It was everything we expected and more. Thanks for a really memorable holiday
