Cot and highchair available on request. Ample off road parking for two cars. Large shared garden with garden furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets. Shop and pub 3 miles.

The Morpeth / Thropton area
Rothbury, dominated by the heather scattered Simonside Hills, is known as the capital of Coquetdale. This small and attractive market town lies on the north bank of the Coquet, famous as a salmon and trout river, and its proximity to Northumberland's National Park ensures that visitors have numerous opportunities to enjoy some excellent walking in the local area. There is a good range of shops, and the village is populated by pretty stone houses that line the town's steep main streets. A golf course, cycle hire and public tennis courts are all nearby, and there are many historic houses and gardens nearby including Cragside; the home of the Duke of Northumberland, Alnwick Castle, and Wallington Hall. Kielder Reservoir and Forest and the incredible sight of Hadrian’s Wall are an easy drive away, as are the soft sandy beaches and dunes of the stunning coast.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
