The Gwynedd region
The Llyn Peninsula is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which stretches out about 30 miles into the Irish Sea from the north west of Wales. Llyn (often spelt Lleyn) retains a unique Welsh charm and character that is still as strong as ever. The peninsula also enjoys a unique micro climate, benefiting from the gulf stream, bringing warmer sea temperatures and weather.
Morfa Nefyn is home to an outstanding links golf course and Porthdinllaen beach. Within a few miles there is an abundance of sandy beaches at Abersoch, Nefyn, Aberdaron, Whistling Sands and many more. The old market town of Pwllheli is only 7 miles away. There are numerous walks to explore, mountains to climb, fishing to enjoy, horse riding lessons to try and watersports to tempt you in a region that offers everything.

"Great location for touring North Wales & Anglesey"
Well equipped house. Loved the kitchen/diner, plenty of room. Nice touch providing washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. thank you. Found the door locks a little difficult.

"Great Location, Great Accomodation!"
I have just spent the bank holiday weekend at Haulwen house in Morfa Nefyn. I had spent a couple of summers in this area as a child and decided to go back with my family. We took a risk and brought two families thinking it would be a tight squeeze. It wasn't! The house sleeps 4 adults and 4 children comfortably. We spent the majority of our time at the beach (a short walk) outside Ty Coch Inn, enjoying the view, weather and cold beer, at night the children watched DVD's in the lounge while we played cards in the kitchen/diner. We have already made enquires for next year.

"House not cleaned properly but lovely area"

Thank you for your feedback which we very much value and we apologise if you had an upsetting experience on check in. We have reviewed our policy with the cleaning company and will ensure that there is sufficient time in future where we allow early check ins. We will also include a hair dryer and oven gloves when we are next at the property.

"Last minute perfection"
We decided to book this very late for the Easter weekend and following week. We struck really lucky with house and the weather. It was our first visit to Morfa Nefyn and it really is a beautiful part of the world. The house is newly decorated with a beach theme throughout. It was spotless! It has all the basics needed for a family stay. It has a downstairs bathroom which came in really useful! Bedrooms were really comfortable. It is a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach. From there you can walk over the 'pub beach' as we called it. Or if you feel like a bit more exercise, you can walk through the golf course for some spectacular scenery! We were very lucky to have beautiful weather. The house is handy for the shops - Londis is in nearby Nefyn, about a 5 minute drive or there is a local convenience store within a 5 minute walk. Would highly recommend a stay at this property.
