The North Wales region

Blodau Glas is situated in the North West of Wales. Wales is a beautiful country with its own special culture and language. The house is in the County of Gwynedd on the North Coast of the Llyn Peninsula. The Llyn enjoys a unique micro-climate, benefitting from the gulf stream, bringing warmer weather and higher sea temperatures.

The Llyn Peninsula stretches out 30 miles into the Irish Sea and is only around 8 miles wide in many parts. To the North is Caernarfon Bay and South is Cardigan Bay. There is nearly 100 miles of coastline with many beaches and coves to explore.

To the East are the mountains of Snowdonia, the highest mountain range in the UK south of the Scottish Highlands.

Morfa Nefyn

Edern has a Post Office and a general store which includes a butcher and the renowned Ship Inn. There is also an hotel with children's play and restaurant facilities.

There are several beaches only a few minutes drive away, with the prize winning Best Pub in Wales The Ty Coch to be found on Porthdinllaen along from Morfa Nefyn Beach.

The famous Nefyn and District Golf Club, with 27 holes, is less than 5 minutes away by car with its stunning scenery.

There are numerous other activities available on and around the Llyn such as karting, wake boarding and ten pin bowling at Glasfryn, 15 - 20 minutes away.

The Llyn is popular for Saliling, Powerboating, horse riding, walking, cycling among other pastimes.

The nearest supermarket is in Nefyn, but it is worth travelling to nearby Pwllheli for much larger and more economical choice.

Other towns include Aberdaron, Abersock, Criccieth and Porthmadog.

"Excellent base for exploring the Lleyn Peninsula"

This is not a cutesy stone cottage tucked away on a remote Welsh hillside but it's none the worse for that. What it is is a good sized modern detached house in a residential Cul de sac, with loa… More
