For walkers, some trails start and finish at Manor Court, and include the essential pub en-route.
For golfers, Manor Court is at the heart of the renowned Bovey Castle Hotel and Championship Golf Course on which our guests may enjoy concessionary golf, including some free rounds.

The West Country / Devon region
The unique location of Manor Court, within the Dartmoor National Park, provides opportunities for an exceptional range of outdoor activities. Whether your preference is for something energetic and challenging, or more leisurely, like visiting the many National Trust properties and sampling the famous Devon cream teas; the area offers something for everyone.
Although a little further away, the much acclaimed Eden Project should be visited whilst in the South West; it is just a pleasant hour and a half drive away, down the A30.
Moretonhampstead area
Moretonhampstead and the surrounding small villages offer some great places to eat and drink, thatched roofed pubs and inns are common.
The cottage is very near Dartmoor where the exposed tors contrast with the tranquillity of the wooded valleys.
How to get there
Exeter Airport in a 45 min. drive from Manor Court. A car is essential and can be hired from Exeter airport.
From Mortonhampstead take the B3212 towards Princetown, Manor Court is on the left after 2 miles.

Further details indoors: The cottage reflects the character of the original granite buildings featuring exposed timber beams and original windows. The cottage is equipped to a high standard including a full kitchen, complete with microwave and dishwasher, plus the usual luxuries, to make your holiday the ultimate in relaxation.
The cottage has Satellite TV, DVD and internet access. You can, of course, dine out, taking advantage of the many superb restaurants in the area including Bovey Castle.
The cottage downstairs features a open plan lounge kitchen and dining area. There is also a cloakroom and single bedroom. Upstairs there is another single bedroom, bathroom and double bedroom.
If this accommodation layout does not suit you we have other cottages available so please ask.
There is a laundry room on site which has washing and drying facilities. In the laundry room there is a number of books, games and videos which can be borrowed free of charge.
Further details outdoors: Concessionary Golf - The golf concession is for two nominated golfers, providing each with 2 weekday rounds free and 3 weekday rounds at approximately £17 per round.
Manor Court guests enjoy golfing rights on the surrounding Bovey Castle Hotel golf course.
Golf forms an integral part of life at Manor Court and undoubtedly, the Bovey Castle Hotel Championship golf course is our major attraction. Originally a sister hotel to the great British Railway hotels of Gleneagles and Turnberry, the Bovey Castle Hotel and golf course maintain this great golfing heritage.
There is private parking, pick nick tables and a barbecue all within the grounds.
Manor Court is situated in the middle of the Bovey Castle Hotel golf course. The adjacent Bovey Castle Hotel welcomes Manor Court guests and offers a choice of restaurant, serving everything from tea on the terrace to the more formal Edwardian dining room. The hotel also offers a meal delivery service to your cottage where every thing is included so there is no washing up afterwards.
Tennis – Manor Court guests can use the Bovey Castle Hotel tennis courts. Any charges are the same as those paid by hotel guests.
Golf Practise Area – A golf practise area is available to guests staying at Manor Court.

Other Manor Court guests are required to pay the Hotel's residential visitors green fee, as paid by their hotel guests, currently £49 (£35 Nov-Mar.).
The Day Visitor rate for 18 holes is £100 (£75 Nov-Mar.)
