About the home

Casa Tesoro is located just 1,5 kilometre on the outskirts of the centre of Moraira. Supermarkets, bars and restaurants are only 500 metres away. Quiet and peaceful, yet only 15 minutes walking distance to the beautiful town Moraira and ten minutes driving to the larger towns Javea and Calpe. The villa has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.

This is a nice and cosy villa in all respects. Equipped with central heating and air-condition in all bedrooms for a year round comfort, it has a nice lounge/diner with digital SAT TV and Spanish TV, three bedrooms, all with an en suite bathroom and en extra WC. The big kitchen is well equipped with big fridge/freezer, hob, oven dish washer and microwave. The garden is very attractive and benefits from its own private pool, with a shallow end perfect for the children and a barbecue. Parking is private within the grounds protected by iron gates and the villa by internal security system.

The villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

This region of the Costa Blanca is very attractive with mountains, small towns and beaches all around. A number of golf courses and tennis courts are also nearby. The big town of Benidorm is about 45 minutes drive, close to Aqualandia water park and the new Terra Mitica theme park.

The climate here is superb and also rated very highly by The World Heath Organisation. This country produces spectacular landscapes with rolling valleys and mountains almost wherever you go and the evening sunsets, particularly in the winter, can be absolutely stunning.

The Moraira / La Sabatera area

All the local towns have their origins in fishing and grape growing and much of this is still to be seen places such as Moraira, Calpe, Altea, Javea and Denia. They all celebrate the religious holidays and Moors and Christians fiestas that offer the visitors breathtaking street parades. For the family there is a wide range of restaurants and beaches nearby.

Moraira, this small popular town is fronted by a life guarded sandy beach, a promenade and marina. Amongst its quiet streets are cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. It also offers clean and attractive shops that cater for just about everything you need, including excellent chemists who converse in English. On Friday mornings Moraira has a very popular market where there is fresh fruit, vegetables, clothes and all manner of other interesting goods on sale.

On second weekend in June there is the annual “Moors and Christians” fiesta weekend – a spectacular event put on by the town locals that is something to be enjoyed by all age groups. Moraira is one of those towns that people - including the local inhabitants - just love to stroll round and take in its life at any hour of the day.

“Our fantastic Holiday” This was our fourth trip to Moraira and our second using the services of Sylvia and Mike Schmitz and once again they certainly didn't disappoint us. The villa was lovely and very spacious and had the added benefit of air conditioning in all the bedrooms. Our children are teenagers and loved the pool but it would be perfectly suitable for families with younger children. The villa is very private and not overlooked at all and we made good use of the bbq as there was ample outdoor lighting for our lazy evenings sitting on the patio area. The villa is located up quite a steep hill but we always hire a car and go down to the town which is only 5 minutes drive away. The area is wonderful and even though it was our fourth visit here we will never tire of it! Monroes carvery, a favourite of ours is located very near (by car) and we have several favourite restaurants in the town itself. Sylvia and Mike were as welcoming as ever and met us when we arrived and when we left. They are always on hand to answer any questions which we have had to do a couple of times. I would thoroughly recommend this villa and the services of Sylvia and Mike and I personnally would only book one of their villas in the future as they are so helpful and I would like to thank them both for another wonderful holiday in Moraira.
