This area has a micro climate which as the World Health Organisation described as one of the healthiest places to live.
The area inland is mountainous with dramatic gorges and valleys like the jalon valley, a walkers paradise. The area leading down to the sea is full of olive groves, orange and lemon trees and many other types of flora and fauna. A trip up to the Medieval Fortress of Guadalest is a must followed by a stop at the Fuentes Des Algar an oasis of natural Waterfalls and crystal clear water pools.
Moraira / Teulada, Moraira area
Local attractions and places of interest include Calpe Rock, Terramittica Theme Park, Benidorm, Terra Natura Safari Park, Aqualandia Waterpark, Mundomar the marina bird centre and lots more besides. There are many wonderful beaches and sophisticated Marinas along the coast and Moraira sea front in particular is a hive of activity with many local and international restaurants to choose from.
