Casa Felicidad, is located about 1km from the very attractive El Portet beach. It is south facing and stands in its own grounds in a very quiet area, with its own private swimming pool and extensive terraces and gardens, including an alfresco dining terrace with a barbecue, and outdoor fridge. The property is well furnished with two well equipped, air conditioned bedrooms, one double and one twin, two bathrooms, one with bath and shower, the other with shower, kitchen with a large fridge freezer, microwave and electric hob and oven and plenty of work surfaces. The lounge/dining room has a comfortable suite and English SKY TV and a radio. There is a utility room with washing machine, iron and ironing board. The upper floor is not occupied when the villa is let and WE GUARANTEE that guests have sole use of all the facilities. Freestanding fans are provided to give cool air if needed. All windows can be opened and have mosquito nets.

We hope that all our guests have the relaxing holiday they want. To make things as easy as possible we:
Do not charge a security deposit.
Have no fixed changeover day, to give flexibility on flights etc.
Provide a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and bottled water.
Change the bed linen and towels weekly.
Have local English people looking after the villa, who are available to answer any questions you may have.
Conditions
A deposit of £100 per week booked is required on booking.
The balance is payable 5 weeks before arrival.
You may arrive after 4pm and should leave by 10am on the morning of departure. There may be some flexibility in this depending on the bookings before and after your stay.

The Costa Blanca has several attractive resorts and bays, of which Calpe and Javea are the most notable. Inland there are spectacular mountain roads and the beautiful Jalon valley, which has excellent restaurants for a leisurely lunch. The bright lights of Benidorm are about 30 minutes drive away. Along the coast there is a splendid narrow gauge railway which runs from Alicante to Denia. The nearest station to El Portet is Teulada, about 5 miles away. Valencia is a very attractive city to visit for a day, and a boat trip in the wetlands of l'Albufuera is interesting.
The Moraira / El Portet area
El Portet is a very attractive small cove with a picture postcard sandy beach, backed by a few bars and a couple of excellent restaurants. The views along the coast are wonderful and there is no road passing through the village so very little traffic to disturb the tranquil atmosphere. Moraira is 20 minutes' walk around the headland from the property and has a full range of shops and a good selection of good quality restaurants, cafes etc. There is a large marina and another sandy beach. Many of the shopkeepers speak English to a degree so it is easy to cope with shopping and there are a number of banks. Market day is Friday, when there is a large street market selling everything. There are numerous fiestas during the summer months including Moors and Christians in June. A wide range of activities is available including sailing and scuba diving around the rocks on the headlands.

There are flights from many regional airports to Alicante (1 hour by car) and Valencia ( 1 and 20 minutes by car).
There are many car hire companies at both airports, including the multinationals. Local companies Solmar and MrCar have offices at both airports and in Moraira, and can be booked by phone or through the internet.
The route from both airports is straightforward, being mostly motorway ( not normally as busy as English motorways!). Detailed instructions will be provided on booking
There is a bus service from Alicante airport to Moraira which can be booked, 20 euros per head each way. We provide details, if required.
Taxis are available from the airport, but are expensive (90 euros each way). Around Moraira taxis are available cheaply.
