The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Nestled in a pretty bay on the south-east coast of Spain, the small resort town of Moraira is an oasis of traditional charm on the busy Costa Blanca, a favoured holiday spot and retirement haven. Moraira has grown from a small fishing village into an attractive resort surrounded by luxury villas without losing its Spanish character, which is entrenched in its impressive marina, variety of shops, colourful weekly markets, atmospheric old town, and its waterfront restaurants and bars.
The resort is easily accessible, being equidistant (about 62 miles/100km) by motorway from both Alicante and Valencia airports. For those who enjoy a taste of the high life, it is also within easy reach by car or bus of the busier, glitzier Costa Blanca resorts of Javea, Calpe and bustling Benidorm. The countryside around Moraira offers some lovely scenery dotted with unspoilt villages to explore. The relaxed traditional ambience of Moraira is accompanied by two main beaches with Blue Flag status, separated by a promontory crowned with a medieval fortress.
There are also plenty of sport and leisure facilities on offer. When it comes to holiday weather, Moraira claims an average 325 days of sunshine a year, and temperatures that stay constantly pleasantly warm, sea breezes ensuring that it is never sweltering in summer, and the surrounding mountains protecting the town from the chilly winter winds.
Moraira / Pinar de l'Advocat area
Pinar de I' Advocat is a residacail part of Moraira with privatly owned villas and a short drive to the town and beach you can walk from the villa approximate 20 mins. Moraira has several safe, sandy beaches with Blue Flag status within easy driving distance of the villa as well as picturesque rocky coves.
There are numerous restaurants and a range of shops in the town, plus several supermarkets for day-to-day needs and a vibrant local market on Fridays. Throughout the year there are several fiestas and, if you are fortunate enough to be here in June, you can experience the famous Moors & Christians Fiesta with colourful street parades, a battle re-enactment and a spectacular firework display.
A 10-15 min walk from Moraira brings you into the breathtaking bay of El Portet where you can eat at the water's edge and the children can play safely on the sandy beach.

Schedule and budget airlines fly from most airports in the UK to Alicante and Valencia airports, both of which are an approximately 1 hours drive t Car hire is readily available at both airports.

we stayed with our family in this fab villa had every thing we needed great location and you can walkt o the town the pool area was very private and the pool was cleaned twice a week we felt very safe on this holiday as sue gave us 24 hour service and there was a doctor on call will be back next year
