About the home

This villa has been totally refurbished to a high specification as intended as the owners main residence but now used only as the family's holiday home.

Situated just 400 metres off the coast road that runs between Moraira and Calpe in the quiet residential area of La Fustera and yet only a few minutes walk to a supermarket, restaurant and bars.

The fully equipped kitchen with Silestone worktops is fitted with hob, oven, integrated dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, and microwave.

Air-conditioning (hot/cold) is provided in the main living area and both bedrooms. Windows are fitted with insect blinds.

British Sky TV, DVD Player, CD Player with iPod Docking Station. DVD and Book Library. Free Wi-Fi.

Steps lead from the secure parking area to the villa which is set in beautiful landscaped gardens and is south-east facing for all day sun.

The large 8m x 5m private pool has extensive terracing for sun worshippers and a seated area amidst the shady palm trees for cooling off.

Use the BBQ and sit under the palms aside the lit pool at night for a truly relaxing evening.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

This is one of the most beautiful regions of Spain with mountains, cliffs and coves stretching along most of the coast.

The amazing vivid blue Mediterranean waters, the lovely sandy beaches, the old towns and villages with their old narrow streets, the restaurants and bars where one can sit and relax outside because of the wonderful all-year round climate.

The Moraira / Benissa area

Perfectly situated near the coast a 10 minute drive north along the coast road takes you to the old Spanish fishing town of Moraira, now a popular resort with it’s many restaurants and driving 5 minutes south takes you to the Spanish market town of Calpe with it’s long sandy beaches.

A 15 min drive inland through the vineyards of the Jalon Valley is a must, where you can sample the local wines in the Spanish Bodegas.

For watersport lovers, Les Bassetts is only 1km away, where catamarans, kayaks, windsurfing and scuba diving are all available for hire or you can enjoy a meal or a drink at their beachside restaurant overlooking the sea and the famous Calpe Rock Ifach.

The beach bar and restaurant is open for most of the year and occasional entertainment is provided on the beach, including live bands, films, barbecues and firework displays. Please check the town's website www.benissa.net for events diary and details of further attractions in the area.

“Everything for a perfect holiday” Thank you, Jane, for letting us spend our short holiday in your beautiful villa and property. We fully enjoyed our staying. The villa was perfect and clean and the garden was lovely with perfect privacy. The whole area was very nice and quiet. The beautiful La Fustera beach was within a walking distance and there were great coastal walking paths to enjoy the magnificent view and nature. We are definitely planning to visit La Tranquilidad again! Married couple from Finland

“A lovely Villa to Relax and Unwind” This was our second visit to La Tranquilidad and once again it lived up to our expectations, We have just returned from 11 days of total relaxation. The villa is spotlessly clean and is very well equipped, will english satellite TV so you can keep up with whats going on at home if you want to, The pool is large and you can lay in the sun till around 7 pm ( September), there is also places around the pool that have total shade all day for when it gets too hot or if you have little ones. There are plenty of big supermarkets so it's easy to stock on on those essentials, and the small supermarket at La Fustera has a lot of english food so you can even get your branston to have with your cheese. Calpe - about 10 mins drive to the right has a lot of nice restaurants especially around the port and a market on a Saturday. Moraira - about 15mins to the left also has nice restaurants a market on friday mornings and a small night market each evening to wonder about after dinner. We love this place and would recomend it to both families and couples.

“Beautiful villa!!!!!” Superb well equiped villa in a good location. Warmest swimming pool we have been in.Jane,the owner,continues to keep up the standards to a high level, and we have already booked to come back next year.

“Perfectection,it surpassed our expectations” Villa La Tranquilidad was the perfect holiday location for us and the facilities were excellent. The property was well equipped,even having proper coffee making facilities which was a real bonus for a self confessed addict like myself. We really couldn't fault it and our friends, who joined during the holiday, were equally impressed and reluctanct to leave. The best recommendation I can give is that we have already tried to re-book for September but unfortunately it is not available! We will certainly be looking to re-book next year.

“What a wonderful holiday!!!” I can't believe what a find this was. A beautiful, modern well equipped villa. It was like home from home only better with the pool and the weather. We have a young family so this villa was ideal as on arrival there was a buggy, cot, car seat, stair gate and lots of toys for the kids to play with in the pool. I would reccommend this villa to families like myself. Will be booking for next year.

“Great villa, great location....” Great villa with all mod cons (air conditioning (a must in the hot weather) and regional UK tv channels so you can keep up with your local BBC news!), a great home from home place to holiday with family. Spacious rooms and great outside area to relax. Location is brilliant as just 5 mins drive either way to Calpe or Moraira but also nearer amenities should you require them, also just over 30 mins drive to Benidorm for visiting places such as Mundomar if you have children with you.

“This was the best place to have a relaxing holiday in a beautiful villa.” Tranquilidad has all you could ask for and is spotlessly clean. It is well designed and has a modern kitchen which includes dishwasher and washing machine. The pool is fabulous and has the benefit of both sun and shade all day. We had the most relaxing holiday in a perfect place. There are beaches, eating places and local shops very close by. It would be hard to ask for more.

“A fantastic holiday and really loved the villa ["couldn't want for more"].” Very well equipped in beautiful surroundings. BBQ' s most evenings in the lovely gardens which were well maintained. Excellent service from the local supermarket. We were all pleased with the location and would consider booking again.

“Fantastic fortnight” We have just returned from a wonderful two weeks at La Tranquilidad. The villa is beautiful- very well maintained and to a high standard. The pool is just perfect- we have a 7 month old little boy who had the best time splashing around! The property is situated just off the main coast road, around 400 metres, and is set back from the quiet road overlooking the sea. The lovely towns of Benissa and Moraira are around 15 minutes drive- Calpe is also only 15 minutes drive in the other direction, but this is more built-up and wasn't really for us but may definitely be of interest to others. There is a lovely bar/restaurant in the bay within walking distance of the villa (only 5 minutes). All of the amenities were more than adequate for the three of us and very comfortable. We will be returning and I would strongly recommend this property and will be recommending it to family & friends.

“The name of the Villa says it all 'La Tranquiidad' a tranquil and relaxing setting.” The villa has everything you could wish for. Modern, very clean and well maintained in a peaceful setting. Lovely gardens and a nice size swimming pool with BBQ and patio area. Within walking distance of the beach and local supermarket. One of the best villas we have stayed in and already booked again for this year.

“A fabulous short break - we will undoubtedly go back and stay longer” Villa is very impressive. Light airy and kept to an extremely high standard. It was lovely to relax in the grounds, which like the house itself are spacious and very well looked after. For us it was a very convenient location situated in a quiet area between the towns of Calpe and Moraira, though of course this location is best suited to those willing to drive a car. We can't wait to go back.
