Enquire nowThe Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
This region is assessed as the world's perfect climate by The World Health Organisation. Unlike the south the region has less humid summers and an abundance of lush landscapes with dramatic mountain backdrops.
Most of the many safe beaches have "blue flag" status.
The whole region offers vast diversity. Visit the old town of Altea with its fabulous restaurants, art shops and imposing historic church or take in the architecture and culture of Valencia. Then there is the ancient fortress village of Guadalest - so remote and so unique!
If it's fun for the kids (and the grown ups) then Benidorm has it all - fab safe beaches, water park, exotic animal theme park and the impressive Terra Mitica theme park. Night life here is buzzing and the Benidorm Palace night spot is well worth a visit.
Visit the sheer beauty of the Xalon valley with its endless fruit groves and villages from another world. The drive alone is stunningly beautiful.
The Moraira / Cumbre del Sol area
Cumbre del Sol is an exclusive development of villas overlooking the Mediterranean. This development and the whole region remain un-commercialised and untouched by mass tourism. The local beach (1 km) is a stunningly beautiful secluded cove used mainly by residents. The head of this cove can be seen on our first image. There are several excellent supermarkets and restaurants close by along with boules (we have 2 sets), tennis, horse riding and great scenic walks.
We fell in love with the local town of Moraira from the moment we first visited. Although only a small town it has an impressive marina with harbour side restaurants and a variety of shops and bars. There are two fabulous sandy beaches with good facilities and lifeguards. These are very safe and ideal for children. Water sports available include scuba, snorkelling, jet skiing and windsurfing. There is an excellent traditional market on Friday morning which is a must. The neighbouring towns of Moraira, Benitatchell and Javea are very proud of their traditions and hold several fiestas throughout the year. Fiesta of the Moors and Christians and bull running
are well worth seeing.
Golfers can enjoy the local course (3 km) at Javea. There are also two championship courses within 25 minutes. Javea Green Bowls Club (4 km) have great facilities and welcome non members. Equipment can be hired. Go karting, tennis and horse riding are also available locally.

I stayed in this villa with 2 adults and 1 baby. The villa is absolutely gorgeous. When you enter the livingroom the seaviewe is very impressive. It is all even better than on the photo's. I liked the terrace and the pool the most. We have had a lot of very nice dinners outside looking at the sea. The location was perfect for us, with a beautifull secluded beach and El Portet nearby, but it is quite isolated so you do need a car. |

I was expecting the villa to be very very nice - but I have to say - it surpassed even my expectations. The villa is very spacious, light and airy and sits in a superb location. The views are wonderful and far reaching along the entire coastline. A lovely breeze is always present due to the villa's elevated position affording unobscured views. The beaches, the town, the shops are all be a handful of minutes away in the car and a pleasurable short drive. Barely a car on the road. As for the villa itself - it is extremely well equipped and a real home from home. Gill and John the owners have put much thought into it. All the kitchenware and utensils are there for your use along with ample crockery and glasses and mugs etc. We never wanted for a thing. The dining area is good - albeit we had all meals al fresco under the patio area by the pool gazing out to sea. We made use of the nice BBQ around by the pool. The pool itself is well sized and benefits from all day sunshine due to it's southerly aspect. Gill and John kindly have a selection of inflatables, floats, balls etc in the pool house which were a "nice to have". The individual aircon in each of the rooms was a god send for us in the evenings / night during the warm August nights after being outdoors all day. The Satellite TV was excellent and had the usual digital channels from the UK including BBC and ITV but also had Sky Sports etc etc. FREE wi-fi was very good. In summary - we cannot praise this villa and Gill and John enough - and we have already made enquiries to return as soon as possible - and would have no reservation in recommending this villa to anyone. You'd have to go some to better this - and it's relaxing and peaceful location within the Cumbre Del Sol. Thankyou Gill and John - and likewise John and Pat who are a stones throw away and look after the place on your behalf - and are on hand if you need them. Marcus V. Bromley - Kent |
