Drive south 10 minutes to Calpe along a beautiful coastal road visit the port for a superb choice of seafood restaurants all trying to tempt you with tasters of their menu and sangria. Or walk along the sea front and eat in one of the bars and restaurants with sea views . Drive a south a little further Altea town to the square and visit the blue domed church which can be seen from the motorway on route from Alicante to Moraira. To get there you go inland on the CV-70, 25 km from Altea, 30minutes along the same raod to Alcante Drive north to the next town Javea and stroll the sea front or set in one of the bars restaurants. or take it easy on the beach Drive north 1 hour to the city of Valencia not be missed with all the charm of old Spain plus the excitement of modern Spain visit the the shops or just walk around take in the charm of the city visit the new Valencia aquarium
Moraira / Baladrar area
Moraira is a small, pretty town on the Costa Blanca coast, half-way between Alicante and Valencia. .Moraira has many bars and restaurants,you can dine under the stars or just relax with a drink You can visit the fish market selling freshly caught fish of the day, and take back to the villa for a BBQ by the pool or wander around the town and choose from the many small shops Every Friday you will find the local market in the centre of Moraira
There are many festivals during the year, one of the most spectacular is the Moors and Christians festival which is held around the middle of June. This includes beach battles, marching processions through the town and ends with a fabulous fire work display.
there are a number of Golf courses around Moraira.and a good par 3 course 5 minutes from the villa. Hourse riding off road safaris can be arrange there is a go carting track just outside of moraira which is great fun for all the family
How to get there
Fly to Alicante & drive north approximately 1 hour or fly to Valencia and drive south approximately 1hr 15 minutes, using Autopista Mediterreana 7 (AP7) toll motorway. Airlines from UK- Ryanair, Jet2, Bmibaby, Easyjet,flymonarch, Thomsonfly, are reasonably cheap.

25% deposit required at the time of booking with the balance and a damage retainer of £300 due 10 weeks before arrival. Damage retainer will be returned on inspection of the property immediately after departure. Payment can be made by online banking or by cheque. Flexible changeover days all year - midweeks acceptable. Minimum booking from 1 May to 30 September is 1 week. Long term winter lets considered, please contact owner.
