About the home

Lovely pool and garden with a lawn shaded by a majestic palm tree. Barbecue area by the main terrace. Very well equipped including television some English channels. Jacaranda is easily accessible with 'no frills' flights flying in to both Alicante and Valencia airports. Just over an hours drive from either airport and you can be at the villa by the pool in the peace and quiet of Moraira.

The ideal holiday home to chill out.

The front door goes in to a hallway and from here an arch goes through to the comfortably furnished lounge. Another archway leads through from the lounge to the dining room. Double doors lead out from the lounge and dining room to a large terrace that wraps around the villa. A passage goes from the entrance hall to two bedrooms, a family bathroom and a shower room.

Off the other side of the entrance hall is a small passage leading to the well equipped kitchen and the utility room. A door from the kitchen goes directly to the dining room. A staircase off the lounge goes up to the "master" suite in the turret. This has a double bed and en suite shower room. There are stunning views from this bedroom.

Downstairs, at pool level, and with its own independent access is the fourth bedroom suite. This comprises a small sitting area, an open-plan kitchenette, a shower room and a double bedded room.

All bedrooms have air conditioning included in rental 8pm to 10am 30/06/12-31/08/12 (full price bookings only. Available as an extra at all other times - please enquire).

Villa Jacaranda between Moraira and Calpe, is a very spacious four bedroom villa. The terraces offer views towards the sea and the Penon d'Ifach at Calpe. The villa has a large swimming pool and garden, is fully walled/fenced and gated, and the pool and surrounding areas are quite private.

Double doors lead out from the lounge and dining room to a large terrace that wraps around the villa. This terrace is partially covered, and well equipped with table and chairs for al fresco meals or just relaxing in the shade. Just off the terrace is the purpose built barbecue, ideal for cooking those al fresco meals.

Steps go down from the terrace to the garden and pool below. The swimming pool is surrounded on three sides by an extensive paved area that is well equipped with sun loungers, a table and chairs and a parasol. There is a lovely lawned area featuring mature palms giving welcome shade in the hotter months.

There is plenty of off-road parking for up to 3 vehicles.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Northern Costa Blanca has long been a popular holiday destination for Spaniards and foreigners alike. The area is still famous for its Valencia oranges that are exported all over the world. Within half hour's drive is Benidorm where a fun day out is guaranteed with a visit to Terra Mitica (theme park), Aqualandia (water park), Terra Natura or Mundomar. And in the evening a trip to Benidorm Palace where a spectacular cabaret is performed - not to be missed! Visit Alicante to see the old Castle, or wander around the port. And more locally, enjoy a drive inland to picturesque Guadalest perched high above a lake. The city of Valencia has many monuments well worth a visit and the city is once again host to the European F1 Grand Prix 22nd to 24th of June 2012. Valencia is also a great place to go shopping. And not too far away is Buñol where the world famous 'Tomatina' fiesta is celebrated each year on the last Wednesday of August. It is also possible to visit Barcelona by train in a day!

The Moraira / Teulada, Moraira area

Moraira was once the sleepy fishing port for Teulada. Now it is a delightful holiday resort. Careful town planning has put a stop to high rise buildings, and the surrounding hills are dotted with whitewashed villas. Moraira’s two fine sandy beaches at Portet and Ampolla are complemented by numerous rocky coves where snorkelling is a delight. In the evening wander around the village and port or spend a Friday morning browsing through the stalls at the weekly open-air market. Restaurants and bars of all types abound in and around Moraira, and Jávea to the north or Calpe to the south are just a few minutes drive away. Plan your holiday around the spectacular Moors & Christians festival celebrated around the 2nd or 3rd week in June.
