Home description
Casa Luisa is a beautiful, two storey, south facing villa set in a pretty garden with a swimming pool, numerous terraces to relax or sunbathe and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean sea. Being two storeys it is ideal for friends or family sharing a holiday with both the villa and apartment having separate, lockable entrances and facilities.
Both levels open on to classic Spanish terraces with chairs and tables to use for dining or relaxing and there are other areas in the garden with seating to take advantage of the peace and quiet, and when necessary, the shade. At night the garden and swimming pool can become magical with the enhancement of outdoor lighting.
On approaching Casa Luisa you see that it is situated up a short but steep driveway, which helps to give privacy from the road way, and with access only by electrically operated gates it is a safe and secure for children to run around freely in the spacious garden. The villa benefits from its own private pool with Roman steps leading down into it and is set by a terrace where you can sun-bathe from dawn til dusk.
Moraira is only a 5 minute drive away but there is a well stocked supermarket, newsagent and a couple of bars and restaurants just a 15 minute walk away in an area called Tabaira.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Moraira is known to some as the JEWEL IN CROWN OF THE COSTA BLANCA where some of the prettiest countryside and best selection of beaches are to be found along the coast. You'll find seashores for all tastes: bustling family beaches with wide stretches of sand to play and sunbathe or quiet coves with rocks to climb and scramble across.
As a souvenir of your visit, choose some locally-made ceramics from an assortment of roadside shops in the area, LA BARRACCA being one of the best, or an article of wickerwork in GATA DE GORGOS.
Climb the Montgó mountain near DENIA and enjoy a good meal with a view over the blue Mediterranean and the steep coastal cliffs.
In CALPE, you can stand in front of or climb to the top of the Penon de Ifach, one of the smallest natural parks in Spain. It is the symbol for the Costa Blanca although just looks like an immense bulk or lump of limy stone that reaches 332 metres in height and extends its arm into the sea and can be seen from the main terrace at Casa Luisa looking to the south west.
Visit the town of ELCHE and stroll through the largest palm tree plantation in Europe, now listed as World Heritage.
Do some trekking in the BERNIA sierra. You can cross the entire crest of the mountains at one thousand metres above sea level, with magnificent vistas.
Drive into the JALON VALLEY and stop off in Jalon on a Saturday morning to visit the Rastro - the antiques market held every week - then cross over the road and taste a few of the local wines.
On a hot day take yourself into the cool of the mountains to see the beauty of the historical village of GUADALEST, renowned as being one of the most visited places in Spain.
Take the children to BENIDORM where there are two vast beaches and several theme parks, including TERRA MITICA for Europe's wildest rides, TERRA NATURA for animals, rides and wild slides, AQUALANDIA water amusement park and MUNDOMAR MARINE exotic animal park.
Moraira / Benimeit area
Benimeit is a quiet residential area situated in the hills above Moraira with spectacular views down to the town, the beaches and the ultimate – The Mediterranean. There are quiet roads and vineyards intertwined between the villas where you can walk and take in the beauty of the typical Spanish countryside.
Moraira is a tourism centre that is well-known for its lovely beaches, its interesting historical centre, the quality of its wines and its fantastic fish auction. Its coastal orientation and the mountains surrounding it provide a microclimate with an average annual temperature of 18 degrees, guaranteeing that its charm can be enjoyed most of the year.
There are plenty of cafes, one being directly on the sandy beach, restaurants and bars in and around the town and there are plenty of shops and a selection of supermarkets together with a bustling market in the huge car park every Friday morning. The majority of Moraira is ideal for pedestrians so a safe walk can be taken through the quiet town or along the seafront through the gardens near the castle and beach to the stunning marina, with the occasional stop off for an ice cream or a drink at a choice of bars, restaurants and cafes.
A holiday in Moraira must include a trip to the bar on the beach, called ALGAS, just outside Moraira on the Calpe road. Here you can sit and enjoy anything from a cup of coffee to a full meal with wine and gaze at the sea lapping against the rocks and look across the water to the hills dividing Moraira from Javea with the fortification on the top built centuries ago to watch out for pirates!
The Spanish are well know for their spectacular fireworks so, if you're lucky, especially when the festival of the Moors and Christians is celebrated in the mid summer you will be able to sit on the terrace at Casa Luisa and watch the fabulous display.

Further details indoors: There is one double and one twin bedroom and two shower rooms (one en-suite to the double bedroom) in the villa and one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room in the apartment. Both levels have their own kitchen, living and dining room and the living room in the apartment has the benefit of a sofa bed for another two people if required.
All bed linen, bathroom towels and pool towels are provided to save you space in your luggage.
The washing machine, tumble dryer and washing line are all located in a utility room away from the living areas in a sunny part of the garden and is accessible from both the villa and the apartment so nobody need be disturbed if washing is needed to be done or clothes be hung out to dry.
There are ceiling fans in all the living rooms and bedrooms which are a must for the hot summer months and the master bedroom in the villa has air conditioning if required. The entire property is centrally heated so can easily be used all year round for holidays.
Both kitchens are stocked with plenty of pots and pans, cutlery and crockery and there is a dishwasher in the kitchen in the villa.
There is a small bar and refrigerator in the living room and plastic tumblers are provided for you to use near the pool should you need refreshment. On no account should glass be taken anywhere near the pool because if a glass was to be broken in or around the water the entire pool would have to be drained to remove the glass.
The beauty of having the villa and apartment as completely self contained is that if you are sharing a holiday with friends or family it offers you the privacy to get away from the bustle of the holiday for a relaxing, peaceful siesta or to read or relax.
Further details outdoors: There is a short but steep driveway leading to the property, which provides privacy from the road way, but the villa is set on a flat plot in a totally enclosed garden with access only by electrically operated gates so is safe and secure for children to run around freely in the spacious Mediterranean garden.
The front doors of both levels open on to classic Spanish terraces with chairs and tables to use for dining or relaxing and there are other areas in the garden with seating to take advantage of the peace and quiet, and when necessary, the shade.
The swimming pool is set just off the living room of the villa and next to a glorious terrace where you can sunbathe on the loungers or sit under the enormous umbrella which can be swivelled round to shade the pool should you have small children playing and want to avoid sun burn while they are wet. There is a small bar and refrigerator in the living room and plastic tumblers are provided for you to use near the pool should you need refreshment.
To one side of the villa is yet another terrace with a pergola and two large swing chairs which is set near the Spanish style barbecue so this is an ideal place to enjoy a meal in the balmy summer evenings. At night the garden and swimming pool can become magical with the enhancement of outdoor lighting.
